Love Tahoe Tavern!! Been going up there for years during the summer. It’s a great place the for family. Pretty quiet area with the longest pier on the lake for fun access to the water. Great views too. The overall place could be a little more updated though, as it doesn’t seem to have received any upgrades (save for the pier) in a while, including many of the places for rent. Still, the overall experience is a great time!

De Renee ( Property Manager ) and The Owner of 31 went beyond the call of duty for us when we needed a single story condo for Three weeks. #31 is amazingly beautiful. It has been totally remodeled. Wonderful outfitted from head to toe. It was a great location. We could not ask for a better place to stay given the circumstances we were in. We would highly recommend #31 and Tahoe Taverns for a family getaway, fun weekend with friends. Or rent more units with #31 for a family reunion. My family has been vacationing here for years. It is pricey of you need multiple cabins for multiple families but we'll worth it. The best part of the place is once you are there, you really do not have to leave the property by car. You have a pool for swimming, tennis courts for playing. Large grassy lawn for the kids to play games on. A pier to hang out and relax on or swim from if so desired, a place to moor your boat and of course, you are just a short walk to Tahoe City saving you all the hassle of fighting the summer traffic. We have made some incredible family memories at Tahoe Taverns and we hope to continue doing so for years to come.

Best Place in Tahoe City area for a sublime time? Yes! Every year, we book a secret Condo and revel in the beauty of the property, the proximity to the Lake ( mere steps) and the long list of amenities. Classic and elegant.

Grew up spending my summers here and still love it. Beautiful grounds and lakeside pool. Great pier w swimming area. Great spot to stay with the family. Highly recommend this place for a Tahoe vacation.

Great place for children... Very family friendly. Older children are able to roam property on their own safely. There are bike paths, pool, tennis courts, ping pong tables and a pier.. All in a gated community with very little car traffic. Fantastic location too! TT is close to tahoe city, where there is shopping and dining. Units vary as some are on meadow and have lake views (my favorite), while others are forest view. Go with the lake view if possible. Updated units are available and are really nice. Older units can still be okay too and you can get for a lower price. So many options and this spot has become a favorite family destination for us. We book two weeks every summer. We're hooked!

Don't want to overstate this, but Tahoe Tavern is a terrific find. Just a five minute walk from the head of the Truckee River off of Highway 89, great coffee and a natural grocery across the street. Amazing little condos sitting in huge redwoods right by the lake. Lots to love. A perfect place for kids and ski bums with day jobs. Check it out for a weekend or a whole winter. You'll be glad you did. 15 minutes to Alpine Valley, 20 to Squaw
