Sue McLaughlin sold me a bamboo chandelier to the tune of $675 on March 5th. She told me she would be shipping the item the following day. I heard nothing on the 6th so I promptly followed up via FB messenger on the 7th with no response. I then followed up again via messenger on March 10th, no response. We had exchanged phone numbers previously so on March 11th I contacted her via text regarding shipping. I was met with a response from her "assistant," Kate, who explained Sue's husband had been in a bike incident but she was certain my package went out because it was no longer in their office. I found this weird considering I never paid for shipping, but took her word for it and moved on. I waited a few days and no package, so I FB messaged March 14th - no response - and texted March 15th - no response. I then get a FB message March 16th from "Kate" explaining Sue's husband had succumbed to his injuries and passed away but my package had shipped and there should be tracking on my "invoice receipt." I never received such a thing so I messaged back instantly requesting a copy - no response. On March 20th, I messaged again explaining I was incredibly sympathetic to her situation, but that I was out a rather large sum of money with zero to show for it - no light, no tracking, no proof this item had even been shipped. Sue herself (allegedly) messages back essentially putting the blame back on me saying I never paid shipping, she has been waiting on me, etc. but that if I would just Venmo her $75 she would ship. I asked for a copy of shipping documentation before I sent $75 and was told I would have it by end of day. I have now followed up every single day from March 21st to today, March 28th, and have been met with silence. I am posting this here in order to try and warn others as this feels very much like I got scammed. This number associated with her real estate agency is the same number I have been corresponding with....

I posted a review that was in error This was an error as the dealing I had was with Sue griffin
