ATTENTION!!!
They renamed their old business profile to "Houses For Houses" in order to hide their shady practices and negative reviews!! PLEASE VISIT THEIR YELP PAGE TO SEE HONEST REVIEWS DONE BY TENANTS!!

I will attach my previous review to this profile along with a screenshot of their old business profile for you to search the truth of this business:

"This review is based off of me being a tenant for 20 days. I have been holding off from giving a review because I wanted to give them time to address issues with the home we are renting; but due to a security issue with our home (and there has been NO follow up since then), I cannot help but express my thoughts to assist those who will also be future tenants of Strategic Growth Real Estate.

Mag T. was assisting us with obtaining the home and presenting contracts. She walked us through the home and we noticed a fair amount of issues that needed to be addressed before the house was suitable to move into. We requested to move in a month later seeing as these issues needed to be addressed. They pressured that they cannot wait for another month and will give the offer to other tenants. We assumed they would prioritize and address the issues BEFORE we moved in.

Upon moving in the home had an overwhelming stench in the living room. It couldn't have started when we moved in. Many who assisted us with moving in assumed it was a gas leak and we have called SoCal Gas to inspect on numerous occasions. After numerous tests, they assumed it might be the sewage line/pipes beneath the home.

The house was COMPLETELY caked with paint: Inside the drawers, the hairs in the bathtub sink, the spiderwebs in the cabinets. Everything.

The house has two bedrooms and only two tenants. The power goes out on occasion. A house meant for two tenants can only handle 1 person using the power? We have also brought this to attention to the property management, with this request not being addressed and cancelled. Still no follow up.

Some of the locks on the windows did not operate and one of the windows was broken. Even worse is the fire escape/window latch is NOT operational which is a hazard to us as tentants and to the property.

As of recently from these 20 days they have hired a contractor to come and fix only what he can. The biggest safety issue (window latch) has not been addressed and regardless of me reaching out, they leave me in the dark without a follow up. As of this morning, I woke up to find my request was cancelled. I'm absolutely applaud. I sent another request for a follow up which I hope to hear from soon.

My outlook and opinion can change, but so far the only way I can summarize my experience with their team:

"Fill the house with tenants first, fix the issues when we can."

I understand that when leasing a home there will be issues that will arise as we move in, but I leased a home with the impression of having a roof over my head and security. So far I do not have that security and there is no reassurance from their team to help us.

Please do a thorough walkthrough and do not feel pressured if the home is not ready."

Would not recommend this company , they don’t care about their tenants and he most money hungry company I have ever worked with wouldn’t trust my friends and family with these people.
