Applied for a home to rent. Then the place was removed and put for a higher rent price twice. I talked to a woman about a refund on my application since the wrong information was put on their website TWICE. And haven’t received my refund for the applications nor any response when I call. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM DO NOT APPLY HERE. LOSS out on $140 for nothing.

Maintenance and Management has taken a drastic decline. My ac unit has been short termed fixed twice within 3 weeks; it's out again. To add insult, it's taken 2-7 days for Strano to get a tech out to look at it.

I had an appt scheduled to view a townhome at noon. By 12:15 no one had showed up except the other person who was also scheduled to view. I received a confirmation text the morning of. I tried contacting their office and was transferred to someone who was supposed to provide me with additional information about what was going on and I was transferred to dead air. I tried calling back after listening to dead air for 5 min and no one answered. I left a voicemail and still didn’t receive a call back. This showed me how my time nor business was valued. This was all i needed for me to know that I shouldn’t rent from them as they probably provide the same type of service when you call with an issue with one of their places.

We decided to hire Strano because the property we wanted to rent out was our home for 17 years and was really nice. We knew that Strano held tenants and property owners to a certain standard. They made me change some things before they would manage it. They found a qualified tenant right away. The two years they managed it went seamless. When the tenant decided not to renew we decided to sell the house. Strano held the tenant to the same standard they held me to and made sure my property was back to the same condition it was before the tenant moved in. I can’t say enough about the relief I felt having a good management team taking care of my property. I can’t find any reason not to give them 5 stars. Andrea and her team were great!

I would give no stars if I could. This is the 4th of July weekend, and I had to cancel our plans to celebrate with our family because 3 days ago, we called because our AC was out. We called and left 6 messages, both on the regular line and on the "emergency" line. No one replied. I had to take my family to a hotel for the last 2 night.
We pay our rent every month on time. And let me tell you, its not cheap. You would expect that would mean that they would honor their part of the deal, However, this isn't the first time that it has taken them a while to respond to request to calls.
I am so disappointed with this company.

If you have a house that you want to rent. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY!
If you are thinking about renting from them, just know that they are one step above a slum-lord landlord.

We have had Strano manage our property for over 4 years as we are out of state investors. Initially they did well, however the amount of turnover within the company has clearly been its demise. Found out 2 months...yes 2 months later that the fire department was called to my house, and they authorized a 1200 dollar "emergency repair". Regardless if the repair was needed, they are not actively managing your property. The excuse that was given for non-notification..."we don't keep our clients phone numbers on the weekend". So why not call me the first weekday? 60 days later after the event I was notified because they received a bill and that was the only reason. That was Strike 1.

What else? The house had a couple blinds that were broken from the prior tenant, nowhere was it annotated on their "post inspection" which would have caused the prior tenants to be responsible. Instead I was charged, no big deal right? Well the couple of blinds being broke turned into a company replacing ALL the blinds without my authorization. Management when questioned said they were "yellowed from the sun". This house does not get much sun, and I have blinds over 10 years old with no yellowing. Not only that, our lease requires pictures...when asked to populate they could not.

Strike 3 - Strano cut and pasted the ad from when it was listed with the prior tenant, the ad was incorrect and therefore caused the property to sit vacant for 3 months and we could figure out why. When we found it the property was then rented within 2 weeks just like very other time. No compensation or discount of a "finders fee" offered from Strano for their mistake.

Strike 4 - I asked my property manager to have management call me about my experience over the past year, and also get me warranty information on the "emergency repair" install. She failed to have anyone call me as she knew I had a list of things she was doing wrong. Guess she is a family member of the owner, therefore will probably never be fired which is sad, back when we had Linda the property was managed flawlessly. I called the CEO direct and had a cordial phone call, still nothing offered even after admitting to not treating our property correctly.

Strike 5 - When I went to see the property to start the handover to a new company, there was a pile of leftover furniture and trash under the balcony from the prior tenant, once again not annotated on the post inspection, so my new tenant has been living with the last tenants belongings on the property for a year and now it will cost me to have removed.

I met with the tenant to do a handover to a new company and she was far relieved as on her end she said they had been horrible and unresponsive. May have saved loosing a good tenant.

I have begun the process of filing formal complaints with the state and I encourage others to do the same. Companies like this that take your money and then do not provide the service provided need to be audited by the state.

I've had nothing but a great experience with Strano. We've rented 2 homes from them in the area and they have always been upfront about what is expected of us and what is expected of them. I've heard others complain about maintenance issues but unless the owners are willing to spend the money to make the repairs, there's nothing Strano can do about it. So far we've had good owners that were willing to take care of the issues and within a day or two Strano had someone over to make the repairs. I've communicated by email most of the time and always get a quick response. They have the lowest pet deposits of any rental agency around so that was one of the reasons we chose them and I'm glad we did.
