Worst property management company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They (specifically Melanie H) go against their own lease terms and make up rules and definitions that do not align with the California apartment association (where their leases are approved from). When I completed my move out I left an honest survey that THEY requested of my experience and they emailed me to ARGUE about my review. Talk about professionalism. I wasn’t even going to post a review but that behavior is so unethical. I’m sure they’ll reply to argue with this as well. After reading the reviews and thinking they were exaggerated, I learned a harsh lesson. It also just goes to show what kind of management system St Clair Investments/Development tolerates and that speaks volumes.

I had never once been late on my rent, in fact I paid two weeks early almost every month. I was present in my community and kept my belongings clean and tight I was not a “problem” tenant but if an “ideal” tenant is treated this way I don’t even want to know how others are treated.

I called to ask about a property and the receptionist was very rude and seemed bothered to answer a very simple question ... the responses I got from her were literally "uh huh" "uh ya" "mhmm" it was very discouraging and made me not want to inquire about the property or any for that matter listed under that realty company, I'm sure it's a great place with great realtors but that receptionist was not up to par with the standards I'm sure they uphold
