Renters Beware!!! Especially if you have kids and/or care about your health. Constant reoccurring black mold, persistent ceiling leaks will have you dumping out buckets of water throughout the day. But Don't worry, they will provide you with fresh paint to cover it up, also known as ($10 bottle of mold spray from Menards). When the paint comes off, they will keep spraying over it again and again to cover it all up. Management feels that this is a effecient way to stop a mold problem. After constant mold spray, I paid a mold company to come out and test the air and walls To see how efficient the spray was. The company determined it was SEVERE mold in the air and walls of my unit, despite the mold spray. Property management did not believe me nor the documented results from the lab of a “Professional mold company”. My daughter has became very sick from living inside of unit, she has medical records stating it has been due to the mold. I reached out to the Village of Matteson for assistance and apparently there has been complaints from several other residents against Springview Property. Rent at Your own risk. Although I am moving, I hope this review will encourage SpringView to provide safer units for future and current tenants.

My family and I have been at our property in the south-suburban area for about three years now. Due to the nature of our professions, my wife and I have lived in a number of states, living in rental properties. I'd have to say this experience working with Springview, and particularly with our property manager Adam, has been a pleasant one. The biggest plus is the professionalism as well as the privacy extended. Additionally, although we have not had a lengthy list of things needing repaired, the issues we have experienced were all resolved in a reasonable amount of time. I encourage anyone who might be in the market to consider this company, as they have a nice portfolio of properties that are reasonably priced along with the service/professionalism. I'm giving 4 stars!!!

Do not do business with springview property. I drop off the keys at the office on November 26 2022 to my former landlord kevin who last name I do not know. Today is January 3 2023 I still have not received my security deposit back. Kevin did not included my security deposit in my new lease, Kevin said his attorney said he did not have to included my deposit in the new lease because he did not received the deposit from me. Thank you Jesus I was able to get out my lease. Kevin is the landlord at 2107 177th st building Lansing, il. I left the apartment in good condition. I had the carpet professional done.

Horrible business etiquette. You basically have to threaten them to get a response. If you're in a spot between homelessness and signing a lease with them please stay in a shelter because at least that's free. Their units are poorly kept, during the winter storms I was essentially trapped in my unit because the plow company never can and then they did they left all the snow around the cars. Bug issues, plumbing issues, the list goes on. They prey upon people with less than perfect credit and abuse them. By all means stay else where the time money and effort aren't worth it. My unit literally was falling apart and infested with all sorts of outside insects and they company essentially left me to deal with it alone. Don't do business here if you can help it . The maintenance person literally said to me "I'm not sure how this unit even passed inspection they're always buying run down buildings and never doing any updates" so I got outa there asap

I would give one star if I could. John typically uses an 815 number to post to Zillow ect. He is now using a 708554 number also. They NEVER advertise under the actual management company name. My unit was infested with 2 types of ants. The apartment was rented out 5 days after I left meaning no treatment. This was the case in my bathroom and kitchen. SvM never sent pest control I took care of what I could on my own. These are horrible human beings. Please live in your car for a few before considering living here.

I have been in my home for about 5 years now , Adam my property manager is the best he is very professional. I have only had a couple maintenance issues in the 5 years and they have been great at addressing them in a timely manner, couldn't ask for a better property management company to work with.

Always say they will send someone out and never do. Never fixes anything. There are people living in our storeroom and its unsafe so we cant even go in there unless we are escorted by a male. They wont fix the door, and our parking lot is dark as hell. Now hes trying to give someone a 5 day notice

I’ve been with Springview for almost 4 years now and my experience has been truly amazing, anytime I call or text Adam he is always prompt with his reply and any services needed. Highly recommended
