However I still do not have hot water. Just like warm water. Still no hot water. When?

Water is getting warmer but it is still not hot.

There is a dripping sound at times in my bathroom. Sounds like water dripping from a faucet but i cannot find the source

The door and lock works great and the garbage disposal is good.

I’m glad I did not let the old bad reviews influence my decision to apply for an apartment unit at Sofi Laguna Hills. The place is safe and quiet. My unit is clean and spacious. No molds. No roaches. The people (staff and residents) are nice and helpful. I had minor problems with my parking space and mailbox due to miscommunication and the non-functional gate remote, but they were immediately fixed or remedied. Another thing that influenced me to rent at Sofi was the customer service of Zach. He made me feel welcome during our phone conversations. Thank you, Sofi.

I want to give zero stars. They left my couch with stucco on it dried and all over the front and back.
This is poor work. I am now checking to make sure nothing got broken or stolen. My couch needs to be professionally cleaned due to this issue.

I would give it no stars but it is not a option. Don't get fooled by the lower rate rent and low deposit. When you move out they charge you over $1200 in new carpet no matter how clean you leave it, painting even though walls super clean, and cleaning fee totaling close to 2K. And they charge for random utilities that us not even part of our lease, it is just outrageous things they added. Happy to share our closeout bill with anyone. You get what you pay for. We left apartment in pristine condition, see pictures. It is a smoking community even though they say it isn't like at pool, walkways, parking lot, everywhere eventhough they say it is not. Our neighbor downstairs is a heavy smoker and smoke smell started coming in into our apartment through vents. We notified office multiple times and they never dealt with it. We have never been able to enjoy the patio or leave any windows open and our apartment still smells like smoke. We ended up moving out early, 1.5 months early because smell it was just intolerable and eventhoughwe had already paid full month rent. They never provided relocation and they are charging us for the full lease and are retaliating and kept our deposit and charged us ridiculous amounts. A brand new carpet for over $1200 when we were there 11 months and carpet just needs a washing, new paint job, detailed cleaning when we paid to have it cleaned. Never rent here!! Pay the extra and go rent with Irvine company or others. What they offer is not real either, their business center had broken printer the entire time, computers didn't work sometimes, dirty grills, no offstreet parking, pool often had
drinking loud parties past 11pm. They never did anything about it. So much drinking at this community, my car got hit even though it was parked; drunk people in the walkways at nights sometimes. New managers literally every other month because everyone would quit. Oh and be ready to have your car towed... there is not enough parking on the street, even though they tell you there us. The last manager when we were leaving and also quitting that week apologized and said main owners are horrible. There were people making out having sex at the pool bathrooms once that is how bad it is there. I understand they can't control everything but they don't even try or let you out of your lease when you complain and retaliate against you when you leave.

My washer hose came loose from the washing machine and caused a flood and I am very grateful that maintenance was available at COB on a Saturday to clean up all the water and then the parts were ordered and then I was notified of the parts came in and the washer was fixed early in the morning the next day! Such a blessing! ♥️

I am a 7 year resident of Sofi and had a couple bedroom vertical blinds break. I happened to run into Leo who is a maintenance tech here at the complex and asked if he had a couple spare blinds handy. He said he only had the longer blinds for patio doors and would have to be cut. Anyway, he came back in 5 minutes and I let him in without needing a maintenance request or appointment necessary. He cut down the longer blinds and problem was solved immediately. Leo is the best maintenance man here for a long time and always takes care of things promptly and efficiently. Give that man a raise!!

The management team at Sofi Apartments has been unresponsive to requests, including general inquiries and work order submissions. There seems to be a lack of accountability, as they often shift responsibility to the homeowners. While I recognize that the apartments are older, their failure to address even minor maintenance issues in a timely manner is concerning, often leaving problems unresolved for months. Additionally, the subcontracted vendors exhibit a lack of professionalism, sometimes causing more damage than they fix. Overall you get what you pay for and If low rent and terrible renter's care is what you are looking for, this is the place for you.

I could not have done it without the team at SOFI Laguna Hills. The neighbors are nice. The place is beautiful and the location is perfect. My kids and I will be very happy here for our new beginning. Thank you all for all you’ve done for us.
