Bill Perilli from Smires was the seller's agent for my recent home purchase in Hamilton. Bill did not disclose before or during the sale (we were informed by our lawyer) that the seller was his daughter. Bill and the seller were consistently dishonest and deceitful about the house throughout the process, not disclosing items that were broken and in several instances applying hurried and shoddy repairs to make the items appear satisfactory so they wouldn't be noticed during inspection. While some items were minor, there were several major issues which involved permits and township variances which Bill was either aware of and did not disclose, or he did not do his due diligence as an agent to be aware that these issues existed and should be disclosed.

I would definitely think twice before getting involved in any deal where Bill is involved. I don't believe that he or his agency can be trusted.

Gotta stop myself from typing a novel here because the help Ed Smires and his associates gave my wife and I was second to none! You just have to let them do what they do. They definitely proved true in the end. Selling our house was easy and fruitful. Everyone we had the pleasure of meeting in this outfit goes above and beyond and we never felt like just a number. Ed of Ed Smires agency scheduled a showing of my home, then rescheduled the time of the showing, only to no show the appt. No call no I’m sorry, and no response to VM message left on his cell from the ShowingTime call center. When I called Mr Smires he basically said sometimes the slip of a finger when using your phone puts the wrong date or time on a schedule. If he can’t keep track of his appts and disrespects others valuable time, how hard will he work for you? Are you the next person he will disrespect?
