We had a really good experience with this company! Sean spent a lot of time talking to us about terracing our mountainside. He was really knowledgeable about drainage and controlling the water coming down the mountain for erosion control. He helped us figure out the best way to accomplish what we wanted to do and he came out to walk our property and flag the terrace areas a few times till we had it the way we wanted it. Sean and Calvin took out dozens of trees that we didn't want. Two of the tree's root systems were about to grow into our foundation and another tree root system was growing around our water main. He did an excellent job getting those trees out without allowing anything to be damaged. He also took out a huge rotten cherry tree that was really close to the house without incident. As far as the excavating, he did exactly what I wanted and he did it so tight we were able to add an extra 20'x60' terrace for a patio. I'm thrilled with the improvement to my land! The price was very fair and the way I see it the project paid for itself since we won't be dealing with a damaged foundation or broken water main in the future. Sean and Calvin were professional, polite, fast, skilled, flexible, patient with me, and great problem solvers! We are looking forward to hiring them again when we're ready to do the second stage of our project. Highly recommend.

Trustworthy, timely, expert, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, polite and professional; Shawn and his crew performed impressive work replacing the rotted landscaping timbers of a retaining wall on a steep slope behind our house. They fastened each end of each layer of staggered timbers with 3 rebar pins to prevent movement. Also, they replaced completely rotted railway sleepers with cement parking bumpers, again, reinforced with rebar pinning to prevent movement. Lastly, gravel and riprap were distributed according to our design to create pathways and to edge the steeply sloping driveway. We are very pleased with their work and highly recommend SK Excavating LLC.

Sean and his crew were an absolute bunch of professionals when we called them in to clear out a bunch of old trees and create some terraces on a hilly part of our property. They were extremely attentive to what we wanted to do and were very flexible to the changes and additions we made to the project.
