SETT MOVERS is a truly EXCEPTIONAL moving company. We had a rather complicated move, involving five stops throughout NJ, to either drop off or pick up furniture from different houses belonging to relatives. Many of the pieces being transported were valuable antiques which were carefully wrapped and protected by the amazing team of men from Sett Movers. My husband and I have moved in and out of multiple homes during our 50 years of marriage and Sett Moving Company was by far the most professional, efficient, polite, detail oriented team of movers that we have ever had the pleasure of working with. It would be impossible for me to recommend Sett Moving Company more highly!

We received a called in the morning notifying us on their arrival time, they even arrived a few minutes early, which worked out great! Rob and Trey were our driver and movers both were friendly and kind, they moved everything with such care. Couldn't ask for a more pleasant moving experience! I cannot say enough good things about SETT movers and their crew. We had the please of having Steve, Jack, Mike and Austin help us with our move and they were awesome! Of course we had the worst day ever to move with the weather just completely pouring the whole time, but there was never any complaints or anything by the crew. They made my wife and I feel extremely comfortable and the whole team were super helpful and efficient. Not to mention they were moving us out of a third floor walk-up apartment and it did not have any elevators. This did not stop them, they worked amazing together and they were extremely knowledgeable and careful with all of our belongings.

I would recommend anyone to use SETT Movers if they are looks for a reputable, friendly and efficient moving company!

I am a firm believer that when you damage a person’s property, you should do the right thing and repair or replace it. Unfortunately, that was not the case with Sett Movers.

I renovated my entire home (installed new floors, completely repainted the inside, etc.) and hired Sett Movers to move my furniture and belongings from storage back to my house. There was no damage to any part of the interior before Sett Movers arrived with my furniture and belongings. However, when they left, my new floor had numerous scratches and the walls in the staircase were filled with marks.

Afterwards, I reviewed the damage with my contractor, the project manager, and the flooring company. All agreed that the flooring damage was made by sliding heavy furniture across the floor, and the wall scratches were likely due to the movers either bracing themselves against the wall as they climbed the stairs or boxes and furniture rubbing against the wall. As a result, a number of the flooring planks will need to be replaced, and the staircase walls repainted.

I brought this to Sett Movers attention. Unfortunately, they are not willing to accept any responsibility. I provided Sett Movers’ the contact information for my contractor and project manager so that they could verify that the floors and wall did not have any damage the day before Sett Movers arrived. However, Sett Movers has not contacted them.

After many unsuccessful requests for Sett Movers to pay for repairing the damage, which could run between $500 and $1,000, my only recourse is to let others know of my situation so that it doesn’t happen to them.

My experience started with the call to SETT Movers. Tara was a delight to talk to. I told her I was looking to move my Dad from home to an Assisted Living/Memory Care. She asked when and I said the problem is going to be, he needs to move in 2 days. She said no problem, we’ll fit you in our schedule. Moving day, a young man Chris and his crew showed up exactly when said, with a call saying they were on there way. They were thorough, very polite. Handled everything like it was glass. Wrapped everything with moving blankets. Within 2 1/2 hours all done and at new place. They placed everything right where I needed it. Highly, highly recommend them. Thanx Chris, you and your team👌🏼
