Buying my first home was such a great experience thanks to Kalok! She was professional, very down to earth and patiently guided me through every step of the way. Kalok explained everything in a way that was easy to understand from the initial walkthrough of the end to end process to making the offer and finally working with the lender to secure the loan.

The market is really crazy right now with homes being sold within days of being listed. Initially I was looking in the peninsula area but in the middle of my home searching process I decided to search int he east bay instead. This did not deter Kalok as she was determined to find me the perfect starter home.

Anytime I had a question Kalok was very quick to respond. This helped eliminate any confusion and ease the stress/anxiety that came up when something came up that I wasn't sure of. She continuously gave me advice and was always looking out for my best interest.

After we were in contract and did our initial walk-through, we quickly realized that the seller left the home in a mess. Carpet was dirty, walls were scuffed, trash and personal belongings were left behind. Kalok was not having it. She immediately reached out and worked with the seller's agent to get the home deep cleaned and back into tip top shape. She reassured me to not worry and that it would be all taken care of... and she did. When I came back for a final walkthrough, the home was in pristine condition. She was dedicated to making sure I had the best possible experience when purchasing the home.

I really appreciated how Kalok was always on top of everything... making sure everybody did what they needed to do. This led to us occasionally being ahead of the game. During close I made a last minute request to see if we can pull up the timeline and she made it happen! We ended up securing the home a week earlier than intially planned!

After this experience, I am absolutely convinced that you will have a great experience working with Kalok and she will help you find and secure your next home! She is highly recommended!

Steven Truong of Sequoia Real Estate is the most untrustworthy and unethical realtor that I have ever come into contact with. My wife and I saw a property in which he was the listing agent. After touring the property he informed us that no offers would be accepted until a specified date. When that date came and our realtor submitted our offer, he informed us that they had already accepted an offer before the offer date that he had previously listed on the property listing and had verbally told us. I am not mad that we lost out on the property (let's be real... being out bid is a definite reality in the SF Bay Area real estate market), what made us mad was that he did not keep to his word to keep to the specified offer date, allowing ALL offers to be presented to the seller. This unethical realtor is dishonest, untrustworthy and the most unprofessional individual that I have ever come into contact with!!!!! Both buyers and sellers beware!!!!!!!!!!
