Posting again because they deleted my previous review. DO NOT MOVE HERE. It is absolutely disgusting. It was decent when we 1st moved here during covid, it has only gone downhill. No one cleans the lint traps and they leave pubes and bugs. Management doesn't do anything about that or the ever growing cracks in the foundation. That's not even counting how the hallways smell like dog piss and the kids here leave trash up and down the hallways. My spouse and I are constantly tripping over kids toys and boxes in the hallways and, again, nothing is done about it. It truly is a lower quality of life living here. Unfortunately, we are stuck. Come here with caution.

They will automatically sign you up for another 12 months on your lease if you don’t sign 2 months before your lease is up. They send you an email to let you know your lease is available to view months before and that is the notice given. There is nobody to actually talk to besides robots of the company and only through text. They automatically signed me up on oct. 1st for another year and I was unaware, oct. 2nd I gave them my notice that my lease is up at the end of November and I will be moving out Dec. 20th. No leniency, they expect 3 months worth of rent and to forfeit my $1500 security deposit. If they give you another number to speak to someone above them they won’t answer. They also refuse to come out before a certain date to fix the air conditioning despite it being over 80 degrees outside, so I had to wait 3 weeks to get my AC fixed because they were backed up on tickets and it’s considered a luxury except I’m also not allowed to provide my own AC unit. Their is 11 windows in a one bedroom and the air comes right in from the outside, you will see curtains being blown when it’s windy despite the windows being closed so also understand your electric bill will be extremely high for such a small area because the place does now hold any air in. The walls are super thin, I can here my neighbors snoring upstairs so if you rent here get an upstairs unit. And if I microwave my pizza, the fire alarms go off, if I turn the oven on the fire alarms go off. If I’m cooking absolutely anything I just have to take the fire alarms off the wall otherwise I couldn’t do anything.

This review is for Haddon Court Apartments located in Haddon Heights New Jersey. The reason I'm leaving this review here is because this is where the rental office is located, and you're not able to leave a Google review on Haddon Court Apartments. This is my next best option for leaving a review. Tahara was my rental agent. Her level of unprofessionalism is obvious. When I initially submitted my application and called the office to follow up, she wasn't discreet in hiding her attitude or that she was annoyed with having to answer the phone. I'm sorry that I interrupted your down time it's obvious that your employer doesn't take measures to make sure you're doing your job properly. She never showed me the apartment she was supposed to actually meet me there and give me the keys and give me a tour of the apartment and building and she completely avoided doing that she made me go over to the rental office knowing that I was in the middle of my work day to go pick up the keys when she could have met me and made it more convenient for me. Completely avoided following up with me when I told her that I wanted to see the apartment before I moved in. When I went to pick up the keys, she pretty much gaslit me pretending like she didn't know that I hadn't seen the apartment or the property. This isn't a one-bedroom apartment like I thought it would be. This is an efficiency apartment. tiny stove, tiny refrigerator, I don't have anywhere to place a table and chairs to sit down for dining, the small area that I do have for a living room has to be used as a dining area, a living room area and the closet is in the living room. there's no closet in the bedroom so I have to use the living room area as part bedroom, part living room, part dining room. There's no air conditioning. No, they make absolutely no attempt to make up for it. They do not offer a window unit. You have to supply it on your own. Everything is outdated and not properly taken care of. It's filthy. There are things like panes of glass missing it's obvious that it was broken, but no one ever took the initiative to replace it. You can see the picture of my door. If somebody wanted to break into my apartment, they could because nothing is properly secure. The only good thing about being here is the town and the surrounding community. It's obvious that SEB Realty doesn't care about their properties and this is just a cash cow so sad to see a historic property like this being destroyed and going to complete absolute waste the girls in the office need better training they need to be professionalized. You shouldn't answer the phone with an attitude problem and make it obvious that you don't want to be bothered it's a deterrent, which I'm sure that's what you're trying to do. It's just so sad to see this property the way that it is not being properly taken care of or used to its highest fullest potential just so sad.
The exterior doors to the building that lead up the stairwells are not secure. If someone off the street wanted to walk up one of the back stairwells and hide in there they can. If a stranger wanted to go down into the laundry area and the basement area where storages they freely can. Somebody can literally hide down in the basement and nobody would ever know it. Until you get jumped or robbed. Not to mention the possibility that Wildlife can get in there too. There's a couple entry ways that don't have any door at all. Being a single woman I don't feel comfortable knowing that somebody could hide in the stairwell or they can hide down in the basement and completely get me by surprise. Did I mention the ridiculous cash slips? They don't have the convenience of allowing their potential tenants to post-payment through an online portal with the credit cards or debit cards. They make you print out this ridiculous cash slip and it's the only way that you can submit a payment to put a hold or deposit on the apartment. So get prepared for running to the bank to withdraw cash. They want guaranteed payment. They don't make it convenient.

If you want to be discriminated against, this is the Realty company for you! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dealing with the extremely rude Tahara Hood from this company was a waste of time and energy. Right after I applied for an apartment, the rent was raised and her response was that 'prices are subject to change at any time'. Then she had my mom fill out an application as well because 'she is over 18'. She was not even a co-applicant, so I didn't see the need for this. The final straw was her telling me that they wouldn't be able to move forward with my application until I show proof of a job transfer closer to the area. Mind you, I make more than enough to pay the rent and my credit score is excellent. Also I can sometimes travel for work and people travel to work every single day, sometimes from different states. So it was clear to me that she had no intention of renting the apartment to me. I wouldn't want to live in a place where the leasing agent is a racist, biased and a poor excuse for a human anyway. They have been reported to the NJ housing for discrimination and thankfully I was able to get my money back from my bank for the application fees. And I got a better apartment in a nicer area anyway.

**I NEVER leave reviews.**

The only reason this realty group has 1.9 stars is because you have to give at least one star to leave a rating. There are a number of reasons why I’d never recommend SEB realty to anyone.
1) Extremely drawn out move in process. Given the run around many days in a row. Took almost a month after getting approved to receive a move in date. Even then, that date wasn’t guaranteed due to poor planning and communication on their behalf.
2) The day before I was set to move into my unit, I was told that the inspector went to “the wrong unit”. I was not made aware until I called the office at 2pm. This was extremely unnerving considering I had to move from my previous apartment by the next day.
3) Leasing agent was condescending when I explained my frustration with the lack of communication.
4) Finally, the leasing supervisor deliberately has ignored any form of communication I’ve initiated to receive my holding deposit back.

Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere
