This was my first time dealing with Santa Margarita Ford. One reason, it's 54 miles away from my home. The way I found them was through Car Gurus site. I was looking for specific vehicle, 2024 Ford Bronco Wildtrak Shadow Black. Guess who was the first dealer to follow up with me...SMF. They had the exact vehicle I wanted! Plus, it was a couple of thousand dollars cheaper than 3 other dealers that showed up on the CG site. I drove out there on a Wednesday (1hr/10min) and from the time I walked up to the door, someone was there to greet me and grabbed the keys to drive the vehicle. I had not even met the salesperson yet. Once I met the salesperson, Robbie in Fleet Sales, everything went smoothly. He got all my info and even said that if I did not want to come back right away I could sign via docusign and come back when I want to pick up the vehicle. Even before I signed anything or paid, he said, "Shake my hand, this Bronco is yours." He made me feel like I made the right decision. I even got another $1000 off from a cash bonus! I was so happy with the way everything was handled that I could not wait to come back the next day (Thursday) to pay and pick it up. Financing was just as easy. Everything was ready and you basically signed on a tablet that had all the tabs set up for you can directed you to the next pages. I was there maybe half of an hour. There was no pressure to buy warranty or add ons. I did get a paint protection for a good price. Finally, I was handed my keys and it was washed and waiting for me right under the carport by the door ready to roll. I have nothing but great things to say about this dealership. As well the rental/loaner car advisor was very supportive in getting me a loaner so I wouldn’t be unconvinced trying to find a rental car

Great experience for the most part. Little feedback, the power steering assist feature went out with less than 4 days of ownership. Had to bring the truck to another dealer to diagnose, called RSM Ford and no one called me back after leaving a VM for sales.

First time using pick up and delivery service at Santa Margarita Ford. The communication was incredible. Service advisor Jorge was top shelf. I own three Ford’s and a Lincoln. This is my go to service department moving forward for all my friends and family. I wish all car dealerships were as customer centric as these folks. They just get it!

I've been thinking about going electric for a few years. After owning half a dozen Audis and Beemers, I wasn't thinking seriously about American cars other than Tesla. When a friend showed me his new Ford Mach E, it was a revelation. I was impressed with its appearance and features, and SM Ford made me a deal involving a good trade-in, great discounts and 0% financing (I wasn't even looking at financing but at 0% why not?). So I took the plunge. I previously had the garage wired for a 240 volt hook-up, so now I just need to get a receptacle installed. The car comes with a portable charger, although I may get a wall charger in addition. Eric White and the team were helpful, courteous and transparent, and the process was about as painless as buying a car could ever be.

What a fantastic experience at Santa Margarita Ford. My wife and I had originally been looking at Jeep Wranglers for the sole purpose of eventually towing behind a motorhome. We decided to go see Vinny at Santa Margarita Ford today as we met him in 2023 before we bought our Ford F150 FX4 Supercrew. Vinny was awesome and showed us the 2024 Jeep Wrangler they had on the lot. My wife spotted a few Broncos and need I say more. We began talking Broncos and Vinny explained that he owned one and we talked reliability, style and features. Vinny's knowledge on the Ford lineup is very impressive and he knows the products. We decided to go to lunch and talk about the possibilities. After lunch we called Vinny and theb we decided to head over to drive the Bronco again. We took it home and checked it's fit in our garage and the neighbors went wild on what a beauty the vehicle is. We went back to the dealer and started talking to Vinny about numbers. He was very kind, honest and transparent. Eric the Sales Manager on duty was a true professional and was crunching the numbers to meet us in a happy place, dollar wise. Eric's oversight with Vinny's perseverance and our insight made the numbers and deal come together. Once we agreed on the numbers we had the opportunity to meet Shervin who is quite the finance guru. His expertise in putting the paperwork together, explaining each important deal and helping us with an amazing extended warranty is truly appreciated and his skill and expertise is highly commendable. What an amazing experience and even the detail team did a great job prepping the vehicle for delivery. We are so thankful and are planning to take the vehicle on a nice road trip. Santa Margarita Ford gave me top dollar for my Mercedes-Benz trade in and offered me a very competitive price on the Bronco. I already take my 2023 Ford F150 FX4 Supercrew to their service department and now I will bringing the 2023 Bronco as well.

Took my truck in to Santa Margarita Ford due to an issue with the rear passenger window. Jay Lara was my service advisor and what a great guy. Jay is professional, kind and knowledgeable. While I was there I requested a full service synthetic oil change. I also asked that they check out the battery system and a message that I get periodically regarding the disabling of certain features. The window switch was replaced under warranty and the oil change service was completed and I even utilized a $50 gift card the dealership sent me for Christmas. The battery issue is something I will need to monitor as they could not replicate the error message. It appears to be a common issue on the new Ford F150s. I will stay on top of it as it's the 2nd time in for this with no resolve. Needless to say this dealership is stellar in all aspects of sales and service. Great people and quality service.

Simply the best! Santa Margarita Ford is a top shelf Ford Dealer both in sales and service. I took the truck in again due to an intermittent AC issue. I spoke with the service advisor, Jay Lara, who was nothing but stellar with his customer service communication and professionalism. Jay called me once the truck was inspected relative to the TSB, which came out in May 2024 regarding the AC on the 2023 Ford F150. The entire time, my truck was in service, which was a total of 3 days, Jay was stellar in keeping me informed of progress. All in all, the experience was a good one, and I highly recommend Santa Margarita.

Sal, Jay and Gina were wonderful and I so appreciate the professionalism and stellar customer service. The HVAC was checked out during my 15000 mile service as it doesn't seem to be blowing cold. They checked for leaks and it's blowing at 42 degrees at the center register. I will monitor and check with my temp guage as well and bring back if it is problematic. The dealership is top notch and I am thankful for what they do.
They are undergoing construction and the remodel will be fantastic. .
