How come local concerns have to meet google/ youtube standards ? Since when has either showed their faces in Santa Cruz County ? A County that separated themselves from Pima County, For a number of reasons, One of which was the fact that the elected at the time didn't give two stools about Nogales's issues, (no surprise coming from Europeans) And now, I'm reading that before I post on a community situation, I've gotta meet google/ youtube standards, And where are they even located ? Ruby Ranch, Patagonia, Nogales? Anyways, I understand the logistics of the complexities involved, Like putting a "turn around" at the Highway access, Or Building a School in route to the Land fill, Or even the friendly neighborhood that's driven through all day to reach...! What I'm getting at is that the w. frontage rd could be extended up the north and tied into the Palo Parado interchange, as the access would benefit all, Those who School as well those who live along, And those who no longer will be traversing through school zones and that friendly neighborhood, All the while leaving the access all ready in place ! For the commercial trucks, the route approaching from the North would save time and fuel as the terrain is less hilly and less cumbersome to navigate! As the Staff has always been polite, respectful, and accommodating, The kinda of people that create an environment where you feel the tax money is well spent, My personal suggestion, They deserve a raise, And a thank you for doing a service that is a vital part of a Civilized Society!

They close at 3:30pm not 4pm. We were there at 3:45pm and she said we are not allowed to dump anymore because its after 3:30pm.

No useful signage and I don’t care enough to offer verbal instruction. Never mind how frustrating it was, it doesn’t seem safe to operate a landfill without an attendant, a DO NOT ENTER or directional arrow signs.

It's ashame the don't have it where you dump in drop boxes from a safe loading area. Then the county could transport the drop boxes to the landfill area for disposal. That's how most modern landfill transfer stations work. It's unsafe for the public to have to go out on the landfill. Then to have signs posted saying proceed at your own risk. I hardly think that will hold up in court.

The only problem I have with this landfill is that they no longer allow you to use credit card or debit cards. When I asked then why, they said "it was too difficult" to manage.

My advice to you before you come here, bring at least 10 dollars cash. They charge 8 dollars for anything under, if I recall correctly, 500 pounds and will also charge an additional 25 dollars if you leave the landfill after 4pm.

It's an ok place. But If they would allow you to use debit cards it would make it even better.

Too limited a working face for smaller customers/trailers
