I love my beautiful new apartment! None of this would have been possible without Arianna's help. She literally went above and beyond to assist me with getting the apartment I wanted in the time I needed. I was initially moving into one apartment and could not pay the entire deposit by the day it would be ready. She offered every suggestion possible and we worked it out. I ended up getting a bigger and better apartment than the one I was originally moving into. I could not be happier! Highly recommend San Marcos

I've lived here for over a month, and it has been amazing so far. Parking is free and private if you have just one car, and my room is amazing. The person who helped me get this place, Lanuola, was very supportive. She helped me with the extenuating circumstances I had with my move-in and secured me a better apartment than the one I was going to get before. She has been a big reason my stay here started amazing and has been consistently good.

The environment is mostly quiet. My only gripe is that the trash is always haphazard, and parking is minimal for visitors.

It's been a pleasure being here at San Marcos! I can't express enough how great the staff is. Stephanie and Morgan are always helpful, and super professional. Clean grounds, friendly maintenance, and parking is way better than it used to be. The maintenance team is great too. Chanel, Jose, Octavio and Philip are always on top of things. Great job to the team at San Marcos - highly recommend!

I was having trouble with my garage door remote. I sent in my request and Chanel reached out to me really fast and got me situated. Since I live been here everyone’s been very nice and maintenance has been very responsive 😊

I took a Tour a Month ago with a Very Kind , Lovely, Young Lady name Dominique that works with San Marcos Apartments Richmond CA. She was really phenomenal @ her job by answering all My Questions without any hesitations or problems. Also she literally ran all three flights of stairs from the front main office, just to open the apartment door for me after the wrong key was entered in the apartment key hole. Even though she didn’t have to do all that, I really truly appreciate, respect & applaud her efforts. She’s the best.

Terrible parking, we all pay so much money to live here just for us to never find parking. I’ve had to park at the walmart parking because there was no parking. It’s ridiculous that I have to park so far and yet still have to pay the apartments for my second vehicle. It’s unfortunate that paying 2,500 + a 2nd vehicle doesn’t include parking.

Highly don’t recommend living here unless you want to struggle with parking. Family wants to visit? Better have them not bring vehicles because there’s never parking here unless your here before 3pm

WORST APARTMENT TO EXIST. Takes advantage of community members and families.

Run away, turn back, and do not rent here. They cannot keep good tenants because they have shady operations.

We had a 2 bedroom where our neighbors above us would let their pitbull pee on the patio and it would drip down into our patio we could smell the urine in our son’s room.

We had black mold in our room, and they moved us out to another unit but didn’t give us our $500 deposit back kept all the money. While giving us a few days to pack everything and charging another $300 deposit for the smaller unit.

We started having pests - ants crawl through our outlets, in our cabinets, everywhere and they did nothing to help remediate the problem. When it came to renewing our lease they never told us they were going to remove the month to month option and we were basically forced to sign another lease.

We gave a 30 day notice as we could not live like this anymore and they are trying to charge us a full month of rent ($2400) when we fully moved out and an additional $600 for paint and cleaning.

They also charge $90-114 for trash because people constantly dump their trash outside of the dumpsters when they move out. They do a poor job of keeping the facilities clean, people get their cars broken into, and feral cats roam through the community.

The pool is disgusting during summer because random people from outside the community enter in and use the facilities.

People jump the sides of the gates to get in and random people roam through community.

My neighbors had to evacuate their unit because there was a gas leak under their unit and were told they have to move for their safety.

If you want a full time job on top of your job join San Marcos so that you can keep up with the maintenance of living here.
