Mike McFarland and his team at Road Runner Real Estate went completely above and beyond for my husband and I in our recent purchase of a commercial office building. I’m still amazed at how easy they made the entire process! From the moment we asked to view the property, Mike quickly jumped to work and provided top-notch customer service by guiding us through everything in a prompt, professional, and knowledgeable manner. He combined his experience in commercial real estate, property management, and banking to answer all our questions and help us to see things we might have otherwise missed. As he advised us during the purchase price negotiations and continued to point out things we should consider along the way, it just reaffirmed that we had the right person in our corner. Mike and Christina worked tirelessly on our behalf. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but Road Runner Real Estate for real estate or property management! This review could really be written in the present tense. We were so pleased with Mike’s work that we asked him to help us with a few other real estate issues!

I applied for an apartment a couple months back and paid $50 for the application fee only to be ignored. I have never spoke to an actual person, and nobody ever answers the phone. After a few weeks I received a lease for the apartment through email and it had the wrong date. After I explained the date was wrong, 2 weeks later it was explained that I can just change the date on the lease myself (which I could not) finally I gave up and rented from a different place. Now I am beIng charged $880 for rent and deposit, with a late fee, to a place I never signed a lease for, never met a single person, and never received keys for the apartment.

I was sent an email about the confusion and Road runner took away the charges as well as sent an apology.

If you're thinking about hiring this company for property management save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. Very hard to get in contact with when you need something taken care and even then you're treated like it's not their priority, told they have other properties too. It's rare that even common area maintenance is taken care of and renters are charged for that on top of rent. Obviously they don't need any more business if they can't handle what they have now. Zero stars!

My son is currently renting with this rental company on fells. I have been trying to reach the person on the lease and no luck. We have called the number always an answering system. We went to the office before move in and the office was always closed. My son has been receiving a bill on his portal for electricity when he is paying the electric directly and just recently received a message in the portal saying he will be evicted. I need to get this resolved as I think there is something wrong because we are paying the electric company directly every month for this units electricity.
