I found a new apartment complex that was very nice and not too expensive for what you get. A one bedroom with new floors, new dishwasher, microwave, stove, and refrigerator all brand new plus a small washer and dryer with it's closed off area for laundry at $725 plus $75 for water which is understandable because it has a really nice pool as well so I can't wait to move in. Beautiful space all for me

After paying the application fee for 2 people. I kept on calling and finally got approved but it was at the moment the secretary(Or whomever took my ap) stated "I don't know if he is going to rent to you because of the type of income you recieve." It was at that moment that I started looking elsewhere because do I really want to rent from someone who discriminate against disable people? No! So stop sending me a request to fill out a pet survey. I will never grace your doorstep again

Horrible customer service. And they seem to only be out to find ways to take as much money as possible from people who are looking for a new home (rental).
I was encouraged to apply for a property they had. I was advised no one else had applied for this home yet. I applied. The system wouldn't allow me to upload all info required. As such I emailed to advice I do have the info I could send directly. I received no response. I waited 2 days to call and ensure my info had been received. It was at that point I was told my app was incomplete. At no time had they reached out to advice me. They waited for me to follow up. I provided all info requested. Again, I waited to give time to process my application. I called back. Then I was adviced they needed an additional $25 on top of the already $50 per person already given to fill out the pet screening that everyone has to do even if you don't have a pet! What?
So, here we are $150 in for 2 adults to apply for a property. I have followed up 3 times since completing my portion and am still being told "it's in process". I've also been told the home we were originally looking at had since been rented although no one was in line at the time we applied. And we had so the move in money ready at the time we applied.
However, even though we were told the home we were looking at was now taken, they still have it listed everywhere. I asked about that, they said they keep it listed until the new family has paid in full once approved. I said, we have all the funds available right now. I was told, oh well, it doesn't work that way! BTW, our background and credit came back immediately with a credit rating of 700 and no criminal records.
I was also told they couldn't process my application at first because were moving from out of town and because we're not local they can't proceed. What? I spoke to the manager who adviced that wasn't correct. Then why is she telling me those things?
In short they are still collecting application and pet fees for homes they know are rented and deciding who they will approve even though we're more than qualified for the homes offered.
In the meantime, we have now moved in to a home with another company. The process with the company we went through was seamless!
Do not give this real estate company your money if you're renting!

I posted a review yesterday based on bad information that I received from a friend yesterday who is ill. Today, I met with the people at Ritchie Real Estate, and they could not have been nicer.
I want to publically apologize to them for reacting as I did without having first hand personal knowledge that could be verified. In otherwise, I was WRONG, I acted spontaniously when I should have done what I did today, which was seek out and find out the facts.
What I found today was a lady (Jennifer Moses)that went the extra mile, showed me a lot of grace that I did not deserve, gave me the complete full story, and was very forgiving of my impulsive and incorrect review from yesterday.
Ritchie Real Estate is a very good, professional, and kind group of people, and I am grateful for the time they gave me and the grace they showed me when I really did not deserve it. Thanks again, Ritchie Real Estate for the kindness you show me.

Amanda Crooks isn’t to be trusted. She sold us out and we are about to loose our property. She never listed our property on the website and didn’t even put signs out. She claimed to have several offers and they were so low that she knew we would not accept those offers. We won’t be surprised to find that after our bank forecloses , someone she is affiliated with will end up having bought and flipped for profit. Do not trust her. And management here at Richie Realtors, has been notified and is only trying to cover it up. They will not answer any emails
