The BEST staff! The young man at the front is so sweet and charming!!! He gave such a warm welcome. Check in/out process very easy, no brain cells required. If you’re looking for a small cozy place to stay, this is THE spot! Great restaurant right next door as well! So happy I stayed here and will be coming back again and again:)

The Rim Country Inn motel was a decent value for price, clean and comfortable enough for an overnight stay. And I really appreciated the checkin process efficiency and warm hospitality. I really wish there was a way to rate, yup - 3 star motel but all service and other stuff 5 star. Small but awesome, in other words.

At the time we stayed in room 25 (2 bed), the space was efficient but unique. I found it charming - but I’m a systems geek - it is designed like a space cabin with like no wasted space. ? You can see the effort to do good things in the space to make it cozy, but over two people might go from cozy to cramped.

The only reason this is not getting one star is because the red-headed young man at the front desk was really nice.

The shower had ridiculously high water pressure to where it felt like taking a shower in a fire hose. It was actually painful and I had to hop out.

The bed seemed comfortable at first but as I slept on it I realized there was a huge lump in the middle and I just couldn't get comfortable.

If I just needed a quick sleep, this would do the job but keep your expectations super low.

(Also the clear glass lighting fixture had been painted over, and then parts of it were brown maybe where it burnt? And you could see that there had been one of those ugly wallpaper trims around the top of the room that they just painted over as well. Just to give you an idea.)

This is a nice clean hotel in the heart of Payson. The front desk young man is helpful and friendly. The rooms are older, but clean and they have microwave, refrigerator, and coffee. And the beds are comfortable. For the price, it's 5 stars.

I did an impromptu trip to do a 2 day trout fishing adventure and on short notice found Rim Country Inn. We really liked the location since we we're walking distance from several restaurants. The room was clean and the A/C worked as designed to deal with the 90 degree highs in Payson for our stay.

It's a nice quiet old fashion hotel good for its price for a short stay, room was clean and even though I was next to a busy street it was quiet day and night, parking lot is well lit at night, very sweet friendly check in process. Only thing that bugged me was the room had poor ventilation so it got stuffy pretty quickly unless you open a window which when I went it was 90° and above so that was not a choice.

This was the perfect place to stay for our family. It was clean and affordable. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The location makes everything in town easily accessible by car or foot. I was concerned road noise would be an issue, but it wasn't. We will stay here again.
