Not a great association. They try charge you twice and the manager ignores your calls. Customer service needs to improve and business practices needs to be refined. Hopefully they take my advice for process improvement purposes. Please be more professional when you respond to peoples ratings Resorts. Also please know who your customers are Resorts. Purely unprofessional response you had to my past post. By the way Resorts I am customer of yours. Also everyone this is not a false rating. I am a live a person that has dealt with this company. Part of business is ratings good or bad. If you want good ratings then treat your customer right. Ask what can you do to make it right as a business not disrespect your customer via google. Please watch how you respond Resorts. If it’s negative then that will support my one star rating. Take my rating and learn and grow from it.

DO NOT TRUST RICH OR HIS COMPANY! I will give more details once he and I are finished, as I will be takin him to Court. BEWARE!!! I was a landlord who hired Rich to manage my property. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. He is not a truthful man and will try to tie you into this contract that only he benefits from. He will speak to his actions in front of the ethics board and small claims court. Rich is unethical to say the least and can't be a good agent because my home sat empty for over two months until I found my tenant. I'm sure he will have a sarcastic comment as a response to this review, but I would rather not even have to. I am writing this review to warn other potential victims because I wish I had been warned before doing business with Rich and his company, Resorts LTD, Inc. Awful experience and now I have to take further action to recover almost 4k from him.
You can tell by the way he responds to negative reviews that he is unprofessional and takes no accountability.

Resorts provided 100% worry-free management of my property for over 7 years. After any tenant moved out, Rich quickly prepped the home and found and vetted a new tenant; the home was never vacant for more than 3 weeks. If there a major repair was needed, Resorts reached out with options and costs and got my approval. Rental income arrived in my bank account regularly (via direct deposit). In short, everything was just taken care of. And when I was ready to sell my home, Rich made it move-in ready in just a couple of weeks and the sale was quick and hassle free. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Beware!!! Worst rental company ever as they will charge you for everything. They refuse to fix things in a timely manner. They charge you for everything. I gave my 60 days notice to terminate my lease, Rich Schaffer accepted it and then I was charged rent for an additional 6 days past termination date so they could keep my security deposit. Asked for documents regarding my refund and never provided it. If you have no choice to rent from this company be sure to read your lease. I had to move out to move into a skilled nursing facility and they charged $450.00 lease termination despite I asked for a month to month lease after living there for three years. Very unprofessional and greedy.

DO NOT do business with Richard Shaffer! BEWARE. He took my money and didn't want to give it back to me. I had to take him to court to get my money back. He does not care and has been doing this for a very long time. So before you respond back saying that I wasn't approved for the apartment or whatever your about to say to cover yourself, ITS all lies. PLEASE READ YOUR LEASE AGREEMENTS before renting from him. . ITS bull. I'm just happy I got my money back after having to take him to court ,

Rich and his staff have always been very professional and friendly in all our dealings. They have also kept our property occupied and in very good condition. We have used this agent and company for 10 years he represents and protects us with good qualified tenants. Gives attention and direction to any repairs that are needed. If I have a question he returns my call quickly.
In addition his office assistants are professional and helpful. I am thankful I can depend on Resorts Real Estate.

I can’t give any stars for this company. Find other property!! They will Steal your money! Keeps your security deposit! Not take care of repairs and charge you for everything including more than the cost of repairs. Read your lease if you have to rent from Resorts!
My mother rented property from Rich Schaffer and his staff. She rented Unit 1305 at Skyline Condominium. My mother’s health was getting worse and I knew that she would need more care. Prior to her signing another’s year lease I contacted the staff at Resorts to ask about a month to month lease and I was informed that was not an option, but the staff changed her renewal lease agreement to include a $450 lease termination despite her medical condition was getting worse and she needed long term care and she was to provide a 60 day notice. The termination letter was sent, Rich Schaffer acknowledged that her lease would be terminated as of July 15 after getting her letter. I received $77.00 check for $1,375 security deposit that was collected along with a ledger that reflected her being charged for a pro-rated amount for July 1-15 and another charge for the entire month of July, I questioned the double charge and Rich Schaffer decided to charge her rent until July 21st. While I was cleaning my mother’s apartment I found mold on the walls in her bedroom. The carpet needed to be replaced but my mothers security deposit was kept to clean the carpets. The hot water had exploded while she was living there and they fail to properly clean it up and thus mold began to grow. I have pictures and will have to go to court to get it resolved as Mr. Rich Schaffer has said he has closed the account and will no longer discuss this per his final email that I received.
It blows my mind that someone would take advantage of the elderly and that if I did not review things for my mother they would have kept $917.00 of her money! Beware of this company and Mr. Shaffer’s actions.
