Mary was very helpful! My roommates and I had lots of questions and she was always very prompt to answer, help out, and follow up on requests for us when there was a delay. She’s always been very kind and polite and it seems like she is very good at her job. We have had a good experience so far with move-in. We are very grateful for Mary for staying in contact and helping us out. The other companies in the area stopped responding to our calls and emails with no communication and no reasoning provided after reviewing our applications and finding that we didn’t have three years of rental history (which seems weird for a college town). We are grateful that Rentor worked with us and found a house for us, and we look forward to living here for a long time!

Great experience working with this company to help us find a rental in Humboldt County. The application process is very thorough, and once you pay the $42 for the background check you are able to use your application for any listings for up to a year without having to pay again which was really awesome for us. Mary was in communication with us throughout the entire process, which is usually stresssful when you're finding a place, so we felt at ease receiving prompt updates from Mary along the way. We are coming from out of the area and the property manager Renee went out of her way to provide a video walkthrough of the unit, which was much appreciated.

No accountability on their end and once again SUPER unethical to continue taking from money from people while you're waiting on someone to sign a lease. Other companies put up a picture that indicates "Decision Pending". Do better Rentor 🙂

I cannot stress enough how frustrated and disappointed I am with Rentor. This company operates with such a lack of transparency and basic customer respect, it's honestly shocking.

First, let’s talk about their application process. Not only do they charge an absurd fee to apply for a property, but they continue to accept payments for applications even after they’ve already approved someone else for the property! That’s right – despite the fact that the property is no longer available, they still take your money under the guise of processing your application, which is honestly deceptive and completely unethical. It feels like a bait-and-switch operation designed to make a quick buck off of desperate renters.

They have been nothing but unhelpful in trying to find a fit for my family, despite the fact that we've followed all of their processes to the letter. It’s clear they have no real interest in helping renters; instead, their focus seems to be on squeezing every last penny out of people who are already in a difficult position.

If you're looking for a company that values transparency, honesty, and basic respect for potential tenants, you will NOT find it here. Rentor has proven to me time and time again that they are not in the business of finding homes for families, but rather in the business of making money off of people’s misfortunes.
