We were first made aware of Ray back in 2005 when he was representing the buyers of a home we were selling. Anyone who knew anything about real estate knew the name "Ray Barson" and made the same comment, “He’s the best real estate attorney in the state.” After the closing, we never forgot how thorough and knowledgeable Ray had been, so needless to say, we immediately requested his services when selling our next home in 2019.

Even with all the clients he serves and other responsibilities and positions he holds, Ray still gave us the time and attention we needed and managed to exceed our expectations. He made the process very easy, immediately gathered all the information critical to doing so, and had a great sense of humor, always keeping things light. Almost every time I called, he picked up – there was only one instance when he was in a session where he couldn’t answer the phone and he called back shortly thereafter.

Most importantly, we were moving across the country and the closing on our next home would be right after the closing of our NJ home. In addition to the need for all transactions to take place in a timely manner, we had to do a remote closing. He clearly understood the urgency and complexity and it was very reassuring to have someone like Ray who was committed to making everything happen in a timely manner.

It was such a pleasure any time I did a call or met with Ray that I can honestly say I’ll miss working with him.
