Powerstone is a strange organization. As an HOA president, they had some definite pros, but SO MANY cons. When our manager stopped following through on their job duties, their boss took over as our manager. What a joke they both were. I actually think the latter was closer to incompetent than the former. Taking great notes, laying out their plan of action, and then executing on about 30% of the job. Sigh. This was all after they fired our original manager, who was frankly amazing at the job. That person must have been making others feel incompetent.

Powerstone will do a great job for five years, but be wary after that. They all but completely gave up on property/vendor walks but would lie and say they did walk. They were very capable of managing the attrition of our neighborhood while charging us more and more in small fees. Very glad to be managed by a capable team elsewhere. Best of luck, HOAs. You're going to need it with Powerstone.

Money grabbing scumbags, want written plans to change plants and sent notices and gave fines about brown grass during water restrictions. Absolutely dishonest trash that doesn’t even maintain general areas well but expect the houses to be better kept. Will never have anything good to say and will bring them up any time someone mentions HOA’s

Ross is a jerk. Unprofessional and unhinged. Definitely not qualified to be handling or dealing with anyone in the community. Yelled, over talking me, threatening to “hang up/disconnect my call because I need to be quiet and listen and let him talk first.” I have been a tenant of a Powerstone property for 6 years. I needed help that required HOA intervention.

Beth is the worst. I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Beth from Powerstone Property Management. She consistently fails to address or resolve problems effectively. Communication has been poor, and I’ve found that issues are either ignored or take far too long to be acknowledged, let alone resolved. It’s incredibly disappointing when you’re relying on someone in her position to manage important matters, but instead, it feels like nothing gets done. I would not recommend working with her if you’re looking for someone responsive and solution-oriented.

I’ve had an increasingly frustrating experience with Powerstone Property Management. When I initially thought Beth was difficult to work with due to her lack of response, I was told her hands were tied and she couldn’t do much. However, she rarely even acknowledges emails, making it hard to know if my concerns are being heard.

I reached out to Maria Merlo, the community manager, hoping for better communication and resolution. Unfortunately, it’s been even more disappointing. Maria replied to email once and then went completely ghost. Maria doesn’t return calls, respond to emails, or take action on issues that require immediate attention, despite her role giving her the authority to do so.

Powerstone’s lack of responsiveness and ineffective problem resolution make it challenging to have any confidence in their management. I hope they consider making serious improvements in their communication and accountability to provide a better experience for their clients.
