Brooke and Porch Property Group helped my wife and I purchase our first home in Atlanta.

Brooke was everything we could have hoped for in an agent. She was knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, proactive, and friendly. Whenever we had a question or concern, Brooke was available to help us, even late nights, early mornings, weekends, and during her vacation. Negative Stars- LONG REVIEW READ BEFORE WORKING WITH PORCH PROPERTY GROUP !

I recently sought a short-term rental - (Drexel Ln) a property listed on Furnished Finder BY PORCH PROPERTY GROUP-

As a travel nurse, the trustworthiness and accuracy of platforms like Airbnb, Furnished Finder, and VRBO are crucial when venturing to new states and places. Until last night, I hadn't encountered any problems.

Upon arrival at 8pm, I encountered initial difficulties with the key location, which had not been communicated to me. After gaining access, I was met with a disheartening sight. The property was in a deplorable state, plagued by dead roaches, spider webs, live spiders, and scattered dirt throughout. The floors looked as if they had never been swept or mopped. To say I was taken aback would be an understatement.

I have been a travel nurse and have availed myself of furnished finder accommodations on numerous occasions, yet I have never encountered a situation of this magnitude. Live spiders and their webs were discovered in disconcerting locations, including above the bed, within the vents, and even in the shower.

After a long 8 hour day of travel, my expectations were a clean and inviting environment, but unfortunately, this was far from the reality. In fact, my stay lasted a mere 12 minutes before I returned the keys and sought accommodation elsewhere.

Prior to leaving the property I called Porch Property Group to inform them of this and how this was unsanitary and I could not stay there I was met with “The exterminator came last week so that’s why there are probably bugs all over- we can touch base with you tomorrow”

Regrettably, I had already submitted a security deposit and the first month's rent, which put a strain on my budget since I hadn't anticipated needing to cover additional accommodation expenses. I had presumed that the property would align with the elevated standards set by the websites they advertise on, and that I wouldn't be met with the expectation of cleaning a home I'm paying for before I even have the chance to stay there.

This was at 8 pm on a Saturday, and at 11:48 am on Sunday, they reached out again to ask for details. When I expressed my concerns, they responded, "It was your choice not to stay there - there were dead bugs, what do you expect? We had it cleaned last week with receipts." (My home is left unoccupied for 13 weeks at a time when I travel, and it does not resemble the condition of this property in any way.)

Furthermore, they insisted they would not refund the full amount, only the deposit. They did offer to send a cleaner today, but given that they already claimed to have cleaned it "last week," I did not feel comfortable with that proposition. Adding to the frustration, it was already noon the next day. If it weren't for the hotel, I would have been left without housing because they did not call to check in or offer any assistance until the afternoon.

This experience is utterly unacceptable.

I cannot recommend this service they list properties that mislead people, resulting in financial loss due to inaccurate representations.

I am completely satisfied with this company. The house I rented had an issue with the natural gas lines when I moved in. They rented me a hotel room for two nights (in the Hilton) and had the issue resolved the next day. When I lost my job, they worked with me with minimizing the financial pains that go along with breaking a lease. These people are real people, and I would definitely rent from them again in the future. They are business people, with a heart.
