If I could give zero stars I would. I don’t know which is worse , Pittsley or Mason Properties. For starters they require you to have a 640 credit score and the apartments are outdated and half managed. Our tub was painted over instead of replaced when we moved in. The shower heads were all corroded with rust and mold. The water was totally rusty and there was mold growing in our kitchen. We had animals crawling around in our heating vents and it took them months to come out and attempt to fix the issue. There was sloppy caulk around everything with mold growing on it and the paint job looked like a grade schooler had done it. Work orders take forever and it still gets half done. If you have a 640 credit score please apply somewhere else. Pittsley are slumlords.

IF YOU PLAN ON MOVING IN OR IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN MOVING IN TO ONE OF THEIR PROPERTIES…. PLEASE make sure while you’re doing a walk around with them, you DOCUMENT & TAKE PICTURES of everything that’s broken! These people are scam artists & the moment you leave, will be the moment they will charge you for the stuff that was already broken before moving in! Sad part about it… Even if you were to give them the money, they’re still not gonna fix what was already broken for the next renters.

Pittsley realty is one of the good place to find a nice apartment for renting. The payment is very transparent and there is easy auto pay options available. The reception will take your call at the office hours and The maintenance is very quick for no heat issues and for general issues it depends and vary from 1 to 2 weeks response time. The parking is sufficient and approximately around 2 parking space for each apartments. There is one time fee of $20 per car.

Only negative thing that I found is that the HVAC (Air conditioning and Water heater) is indoor and attached to one of the bed rooms. It is too loud and feel uncomfortable every time its on.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. So unprofessional, don’t care about anything, and lack communication. I have reported a mold situation in my basement numerous times and nobody has been by to fix it. They expect us to pay rent for a place that has black mold growing all over the wall.
I would never recommend this company to anyone ever!!! One lady in the office is extremely rude and doesn’t care anytime you report any kind of issue. When you call and report things it seems that they go in one ear and out the other. Nothing ever gets fixed properly. Do yourself a favor and do not rent through them!

The worst property management I've come across. They're ripping off students and taking advantage of us. Irresponsible as heck. These people keep on sending emails that rent is due, when it was paid in full on time. Deposits were transferred, yet the new tenants still get emails asking them to pay deposits.

we lived here for about four years total in two different units. the maintenance men are nice and overall we haven’t had significant issues. both units were clean and functional. never had an issue with pests. neighbors can be hit or miss since it’s a college area. overall i was happy here and am only leaving to be closer to work.

I haven’t lived in their property for a little over a month and I’ve been contacting them throughout all of this time about taking me off the lease on an apartment I shared with an old roommate. Yet I haven’t received any emails or documents to do so. I even left my information for their manager a few weeks ago for a call back yet I still haven’t received an email or call back. Why is that Someone needs to get in contact with me for law enforcements be contacting them.

I absolutely love living with Pittsley. The two townhouses I lived in during my time with them were adorable. Their properties are far better quality than most collage housing, at prices that won’t break the bank. The maintenance team is wonderfully kind and super responsive. During one winter, I couldn’t get my furnace to blow hot air. I called the office and a maintenance man was knocking on my door within ten minutes!! When he was done, he took the time to show me what was wrong and explain things I can do to keep an eye on it in the future. If I could tip them, I would.

The office staff is patient and helpful. When my first lease was up and I wanted to move to a smaller unit, they made the moving process easy and painless.

So happy I decided to live with Pittsley.
