If I could leave NO stars I would. I moved here in 2019 and for almost 2 years it was ok. The grounds were kept nice and the office was always available. NOW we have had a mice problem in my unit 5301 for 2 years this June. The office staff is incompetent and disrespectful as if you are bothering them, the maintenance staff has 2 employees and only one really does his work. The owners are beyond slumlords. I personally was communicating with them about the mice infestation and got nowhere. I was promised that if the problem wasn’t rectified in 3 months they would hire a specialist to figure out why the mice are such a problem. And NOTHING! The owners are brothers from NY and couldn’t care less about the living conditions. All they care about is collecting rent. The way the management office and the owner do the residents in The Pines is terrible and they bought Arborwood which is connected and terrible as well. My apartment is falling apart and they just want the rent…DO NOT MOVE HERE! DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I guess you get what you pay for. Cheap rent gets you rude management staff, untrained maintenance people and being surrounded by crime. Someone was stabbed outside my apartment! And The pics I posted show a hole in my ceiling from the upstairs neighbors toilet having sunk causing a sewage leak that flooded my apartment at one point. Mind you this was right over my toilet so using the bathroom meant running the risk of toilet water being dripped onto me. Maintenance decided to patch it and paint....4 times! Each time the problem got worse resulting in mold and the paint bubbles. It eventually spread all the way into my dining room and kitchen but...just more paint was used to cover the water spots. Absolutely disgusting. According to the neighbor they never really fixed their toilet causing their bathroom to continually flood, soaking their carpet which is how it spread across my ceiling. Another time my sink pipe was leaking and they rigged it to hold with a wire coat hanger. Do not live here... there are better appts at comparable prices.

they suck, notice those green circular things in the ground in front of the apt, well that's for termites. They don't keep the grounds as clean as they should be. There's police in here all the time. The area is not safe with a project next door, the termites ate away at the floor boards, I was 4 inches away from the tenants ceiling beam, they did absolutely nothing. Wanted me to put another deposit down to move me into another unit after I just paid them the rent. I would NOT live here if they paid me.

I give this place a F 0 🐀🤮 I have expressed my concerns about the rodent infestation numerous times.
Unfortunately, nothing has been done and I am unable to continue to reside at Pine Apartments
with this issue. I had to throw out my living room set all my pots and pans dishes. The water smells so bad and the bugs all over the place. Not doing it no more..

There are mosquito infestations year round inside of the apartment homes. The leasing office did nothing and we had to tape mosquito netting for camping over every single air vent. Apartments are connected to each other through air vents resulting in this uncontrollable spread. We killed over 30 mosquitos in a single day, only to have more come back the next morning. Our neighbors told us their homes were the same, that they put in formal complaints, and nobody in the leasing office tried to help. Imagine being eaten at night, while showering, or just having them swoop down at you when you walk in your door. It has been pure hell. Drain flies are such a problem, we found maggots coming through the caulk on the bathtub from inside of the tub walls. The exterminator showed up and literally said there was nothing he could do. It's unbearable. Do not live here.

We just moved in a week ago and are loving it. Our apartment was clean, our neighbors are quiet and polite and though we haven't had any maintenance issues, we have run into staff on the property and have been greeted by name, which cannot be easy to remember, considering the size of the complex. I was pleasantly surprised by the laundry facilities, the dryer always gets our clothes dry on the first try. The parking lot was recently repaved as well. Our only complaint is that the tub was re-enameled recently and there are some spots where it wasn't done correctly, but that is very minor. Overall, we are extremely pleased with our decision to lease this apartment.

Update: 10 months later... the bathtub has continue to deteriorate so that when you take a bath big chips of enamel float around in the tub with you. The neighbors are constantly fighting and screaming in public. We've seen the police more times than we'd like, and about once or twice a week, the entire building reeks of pot. It's almost time to renew our lease and we're weighing our options, especially since they want to raise rent by $60/month without addressing the stress cracks in every corner of our apartment or the fact that our clogged gutters and downspouts are causing an infestation of sewage flies. And as far as the laundry room, 2 dryers stopped working around Christmas. Maintenance was alerted and we told they'd be fixed by April, it's now July and they're still not fixed, which means that the tenants of 32 apartments have to share 2 dryers. We often wait an entire day to get to an open dryer.

DO NOT MOVE HERE !! Been here going on 5 years, my lease is currently coming to an end and couldn’t be happier. The last year has been morning but mice problem. Called the leasing office multiple times and the exterminator only comes and put down traps. Mice running across the floors, counter tops, even furniture. Floors are uneven, floors don’t mesh with the walls.
