I simply cannot say enough great things about Pier and Post!! I have worked with Pier and Post's Christine and Brenda for over six years now. They have always gone far beyond in providing outstanding property management services for my mother's rental property in San Jose. They started out in 2012 by helping to successfully coordinate all the trades vendors to get the property ready for rental and continuing to provide excellent service and advice on everything from new renters to repair and maintenance recommendations. I can always count on Christine to provide me with creative and well thought out approaches to the typical issues one faces with being a landlord. Brenda provides expert accounting and other much needed support. If you need rental property management services look no further as Pier and Post is the answer. You will be extremely happy you chose them and will wonder how you ever got along without Christine and Brenda!! I HIGHLY and STRONGLY RECOMMEND PIER AND POST!!!! 10 STARS!!!!

Here we are about a couple years later and we needed to sell my mother's house as she passed in Oct, 2019. Of course, we immediately looked to Christine at Pier and Post to help us through the sales phase as she's done such an outstanding job with the property as a rental.

Christine continued to help us in every way possible! She successfully helped us navigate the logistics of our tenant leaving when their lease was up in Jan, 2020 and the prep work necessary for getting the house ready for listing. As you might expect, the scope of work grew somewhat but Christine was there every step of the way for us by giving her typical excellent and sound advice on what would be value-added to do for the house sale. Christine also acted as the focal point for all the vendors and did an absolute incredible job!! Everything was done on time, the work came out great, and the costs were exactly what we expected. Christine had a similarly great strategy for pricing the house and fielding offers. We listed on March 9th with plans for an open-house that weekend and review offers the following week in order to ramp-up interest. It worked perfectly even at the cusp of the Covid--19 impacts. We received four offers and immediately entered escrow. The process was very smooth, just a couple of hiccups along the way, as you would expect, but Christine very patiently explained what was happening and put things in the proper perspective and what we could expect as we moved forward. Christine's knowledge, clear and timely communications, and superior judgement was invaluable to us in the entire process. We cannot thank her enough for her assistance in the sales process. We completed escrow only 4 days beyond the original target which was spectacular considering the potential COVID-19 impacts. If you need to rent, buy, or sell any property, go to Pier and Post and talk to Christine!!! You'll be very happy you did!! She and her team are GREAT!!!!!

Christine worked endlessly to help us buy our house. She thoroughly explained the various processes to us (loan process, making an offer, escrow, home inspections, etc) and she was very patient and professional with us when we asked her over and over again to explain different parts of the home buying process (because we forgot what she said previously). She went far above and beyond what we expected. We would certainly use her to sell our house (if we ever decide to) or buy another house in the area!

Regarding property management....if you are renting one of the places managed by this business, don't bother cleaning anything when you leave because they have contracted folks who will clean over it, charge and you will be lucky to get anything back from your deposit. And, I learned the hard way that any discrepancies when you move in must be documented because management can change, and it did three times while in lived in the property; whatever was promised by the first manager goes out the window when it is a verbal agreement that some things will be done that never get done and they are gone....
