Clean, new apartment in a very quaint location. We have loved our time since moving to Netherwood Flats. You have access to a gym, garage parking and a outdoor courtyard that makes it feel like home. Would recommend to a friend!

Updated 2/29/2024 - this place is awful don’t do it. I’ve had a leak in my roof since September and it has not been fixed. The property manager Chris is negligent and disrespectful, and the overall communication with this place is god awful. Now they’re threatening eviction because I won’t pay until I receive proof that this issue has been fixed while I have been out of state dealing with a family emergency. They also pay you $50 in Amazon cards to give a great review, I’ve since had several $50 charges on my account that they refuse to take off. These people move shady.

These people are SCAMMERS. Reading reviews they even offer people 50$ amazon gift cards for fake positive ones

Deciding to live here was the WORST mistake I have ever made. There is absolutely NOTHING luxurious about these "luxury apartments”.

1. Water has been completely off at least three times since I’ve lived here. They don't give notices via email or telephone, they never explain why and never let anyone know when it is back on either.

2. There were multiple water leakages throughout the apartment, especially on the third floor. There were some ceiling breakages. I notified the property manager and nothing was done. There is still breakage in my ceiling.

3. I am convinced the cameras do NOT work. There are packages stolen, car break-ins, etc. When requesting security footage, the only excuse is “we aren't able to have access to them.” (Mind you, it is the PROPERTY MANAGER claiming to not have access to the security footage throughout the building.)

4. Not a safe living environment at all. If you have a family or are living alone, you will deal with people who are high/drunk around the premises constantly. There have been multiple car break-ins and the property management are completely useless when it comes to asking for video footage. Do not let them say “it is a rare occurrence” when items are stolen within or around the building — they happen often.

5. Having a car living here becomes an inconvenience. There is NO secure parking and your car is not safe here. You have to pay the state $60 a month for parking, which wouldn't be an issue, but you risk your car getting broken into, drunk/high people around while watching you every day, and the lot not even being open. The parking isn't secure because the city is always having events which take up the lot. So not only are you paying $60 a month for an area your car is not safe in, your parking spot isn't even guaranteed.

If you were able to at least park in the front of the building, you'd at least have a solution to this issue, but after 1 or 2 AM the roads need to be cleared, and you'd end up getting a ticket.

6. Management is completely useless. They're not usually on site, they don't take concern seriously. I have multiple unread text messages of concerns. The messages they do reply to will have no actual actions being taken.

The 1 star is only because I can't leave 0. You are paying for an unsafe, dirty, uncomfortable place of living, not anything luxury about it. I am counting down the days until I am able to leave.

Below I have pictures of at least three car break ins, my ceiling with water damage, water damage with the ceiling in the hallway of the 3rd floor, dog poop throughout the apartment floor (it would be there for weeks) and one of many water leakages.

This leasing company is the worst company in NEW JERSEY! they allow random people to come into the building giving them master keys to access any and every apartment. Vagrants in the neighborhood have access to your packages your lobby and your unit as well! (Because paramount doesn’t care!). They allow the cleaning staff to steal from your units and have employees of the company living in the units as well. Mold and mildew are rampant around the building. No amenities. People are free to your property inside and outside the building! Please do not live here. I am actually going forward and doing a report with NEWS 12 NEW JERSEY and some other independent platforms. PLEASE IF I CAN GIVE YOU ANY ADVICE PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE. IT IS THE WORST POSSIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS EVER.

Been working in there office in Newark for years. Every year we go through no heat in the fall/winters. Been 2 months with numerous requests to have heat and nothing has been done. They hire technicians with no experience or they are just being cheap. The bathrooms are disgusting, mold , water gives out sometimes.
They finally answered us after this review for 2 months no response.
And now it’s February 2025 and they still don’t provide us with heat. Clearly they just don’t want to pay for heat and don’t care. All winter no heat so far. Nothing changes . And no explanation. Trust when I say IT “DOES ALIGN WITH THEIR STANDARDS AND PRACTICES”

They don’t care at all.. DONT RENT HERE!!!
