I am a current tenant, came here for the amenities. As everyone else, however there was a power surge approximately 1 week ago and my fob still doesn't work, I put an work order in prior to moving in to have the stains in the rugs removed (nothing) and to have my personal ceiling fans installed. Still nothing.

Lived here with my mom 4 years ago when I was a teen. Their prices were a bit more reasonable back then but still on the higher end. Their front office and maintenance team are a joke for how much place brings in a month. 1,400 rent to leave with broke dryer for a whole year while you just kept sending someone to “fix” it. One whole year of hearing the squealing and shaking and nothing we can do about it then the have the audacity to kick her out. Be ready for them to be on your butt and being a good tenant but then simply fail to replace a broke dryer for A WHOLE YEAR!

One of the best apartments I've had in my life. I only moved to be closer to family in another state. I had the best neighbors and never had any problems at Oro Vista. The apartment looked great after the renovations last year. The view of the mountains out my windows will be missed for sure. Vaughn in the office and Daniel in maint. were both always helpful and keep on top of things. Great area and close to restaurants and a Fry's across the street.

Used to be a nice place to live but due to staffing issues and price I cannot recommend it. During COVID they decided to "renovate" all the apartments. We were not allowed to change the date that they would be in the apartment even though my husband and I both work from home. We were promised that the staff entering would wear masks since this was during COVID but I had to call the front office because the staff entering our apartment were not wearing masks. The renovation looks terrible and the cheap materials warp easily with every day wear. Cabinets warping, the sink is too shallow and the water pressure is too high so it sprays water everywhere and its ugly as well. They left a large hole in our kitchen wall from the renovation for months before finally patching it up. The only up side was the new appliances. We had several issues with maintenance staff that live in the community not following community rules. Constantly letting their dogs just run out the front door to use the bathroom without a leash/picking up after them. They would use our assigned parking spot and the handicap spot despite not having a placard. Office staff refused to do anything about this and would not enforce these rules with this staff member so it was a constant issue the entire time we were living there. We received a nasty letter stating that we did not pick up after our dog in an area that we do not even take our dog to (opposite side of the apartment complex, she's old and does not walk that far) and my husband and I always picked up after our dog. When I called to see what the situation was, they could only tell me that someone had described a "small black dog" and no more info despite threatening to fine and evict us based on this. Kids constantly run around the complex unsupervised knocking on doors, skating behind and between cars. Staff will do nothing about this. Rent increased $280 between 2019-2022 and they wanted to increase our rent $270 in 2023. Management is never around and the leasing person who currently works in the office doesn't know what they are doing. We received a final move out bill with frivolous charges that are not outlined in our lease with incorrect spelling of my name and simple words being misspelled in the letter.

Office staff is great, but a bigger office staff would be nice. There are times no one is available during business hours

Moved here from NY. Love this place. Staff is amazing and never wait for maintenance. Place is super clean and quiet. Pool, hot tub and fitness room are fantastic. Walking distance to store, restaurants and many other things. Feels like I’m on vacation every day.

The wife and I have been here for a year. Beautiful property with nice views of the mountains from anywhere on the property. Grocery store and places to eat within walking distance. During our stay, we have had some good times and, of course, meh times (pool/gym closure due to COVID-19 – but everything is closed. So not their fault). The good times are what keeps us wanting to live here for many years to come. The staff are very awesome and really want to make things right with issues that may come around. We like to give kudos to Vaughn; he is the best. He keeps things running smooth and he does not shy away from working to get things fixed. Example – when we needed an extra key, he did not make us wait until someone from maintenance could do it, he took care of it himself. Maintenance team is good as well, they respond timely (we have not had any emergencies). We wish the floor/ceilings had better sound barriers as the kids above us can be rather noisy with their running, stomping, playing (being kids), but that is life in apartment living.
