I can’t believe this place is still in business. Below is my review that I posted on Yelp when I was a tenant several years ago. I encourage everyone to first check out the Yelp page and read the feedback. To say that O’Hanks Management has serious issues and renter rights violations is a gross understatement.

Cathie and Julie, who manage/run this company, has some very serious issues in the way they treat their tenants. We rented a place through them (near Hilltop) and they were very bad at responding to my legitimate maintenance requests and extremely disrespectful and hurtful. I should have looked elsewhere the first time I stepped foot into their office to view the rental property. Julie made me fill out a form that asked for all my personal info including my income and SSN. Of course, I'm not going to give that information away when I'm JUST LOOKING at a prospective rental. Julie was extremely rude and unhappy when I chose not to give and said she doesn't "care about my semantics." I was shocked by her rudeness. Not that I'm demanding it, but shouldn't there be some kind of customer service since I'm a prospective tenant?! I'm not the type of tenant who make unreasonable maintenance requests about petty things, but oh my goodness. During the entire time in the property, they never fixed the broken oven handle, put in a window screen, fix the broken lamp by the front door, and this is just to name a few. Our stove top was damaged and we couldn't cook for almost 3 weeks because they didn't send anyone out immediately. I had to use a portable electric stove. They shouted at us in the office, screamed at us over the phone and were extremely condescending. And no I'm not exaggerating. Cathie even threatened to cancel our rental contract since we "complained too much." The property had obvious issues that needed to be brought up and the owner should want to take care of his/her property. The whole time I was there, I got the feeling that O'Hanks only cared about the owner and avoiding maintenance at all cost. We contemplated suing them for negligence and for the way they treated us. It just wasn't worth it. We moved out shortly after our 6-month contract was over. I know that they are baseless reviews written by competitors, but I'm NOT one of them. I still have my contract as proof. I wrote this in hopes to protect others from the very offensive, disrespectful and hurtful ways they treat their tenants. PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this company. No matter how nice the property is, you must avoid this company at all cost, or you will suffer a miserable stay your entire time.
