My boyfriend and I moved into the Oakes Pond LUXURY apartment complex on July 15, 2024. Two days before the movers were scheduled, we received the keys to the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, I noticed that the kitchen was absolutely filthy. Every appliance and kitchen cabinet was completely covered with grease and everything felt sticky to the touch. Apparently, the former tenants had two cats and one dog. The amount of pet hair and urine that was in and on the lower kitchen cabinets was staggering-just disgusting. I immediately called the leasing office and detailed the condition of the apartment. I asked how this could happen. How could an employee of this complex think that this apartment was clean and in move in condition The employee that I spoke with offered to bring me cleaning supplies…not to have it cleaned but to bring by some cleaner that I could use. I was astounded, this is completely unacceptable. I can’t find the words to adequately express how upset, angry, and disrespected I feel. I spent over 11 hours of the two days before we moved in cleaning. The smell of pet urine in the carpets is disgusting and despite my best efforts, I can’t get it out.
I’m writing this review to make potential tenants / residents aware as I don’t want anyone to have this experience. It’s truly been awful.

One of the nicest apartment complexes I’ve ever lived in. Very spacious, modern decor and appliances. The leasing manager is amazing and the buildings and grounds are consistently well maintained. Plenty of parking for both residents and guests. Great pool and a workout area with plenty of cardio and strength machines. A bit pricey but absolutely worth the money.

We have had a great experience since we moved into Oakes Pond 7 months ago. Adam and the staff in the rental office are extremely friendly and the maintenance staff is responsive and helpful. Everyone seems to care about the happiness of the residents who live here. My family loves the community and we use the gym (and pool when it’s in season) frequently. Both amenities are great and have never been overly crowded. My husband and I both have indoor parking spots which are included in the cost of the rent. My kids are happy with the amount of space we have here. We couldn’t be happier at Oakes Pond!

I live in Oakes Pond at Bloomfield for 2 years now and it was my first time moving into an apartment. Just to give you an idea on how smooth and easy the whole process was and also living here for 2 years looked like:

2015 : Met Adam (property manager) for the first time, he walked us through a whole tour of the apartment. Answered a LOT of my questions and right then we just knew we wanted to live here. Application process was super easy and got a callback from Adam a few days later letting us that we got approved! Finalized the paperwork and then we were ready to move in! Moving in was a breeze.

Adam is an amazing property manager, provides excellent service, and he always goes above and beyond for the tenants..

2016 - 2017 : Few minor maintenance needed to be done in the apartment. We sent the request via online and the maintenance guy (forgot his name) called me the very next day and set up a time when it was convenient for us for he can come and fix what needed to be fixed. I never had an issue or problem living here. I once inquired about the clubhouse and a few questions about maintenance, Jocelyn is another person who has been very helpful! The place is always clean!!

Requesting for a maintenance to be done in Oakes Pond is great and convenient. I can trust that they get the request completed right away.

Jocelyn is the lovely face that you see when you walk into the leasing office. She has a wonderful personality, very accommodating, and VERY organized. She always answers any questions / concerns that I have.

In other words, the team (Adam, Jocelyn, and maintenance people) behind Oakes Pond at Bloomfield are just wonderful because they always cater to their tenant's needs. Living in Oakes Pond feels like I live in a very close community - every tenant knows each other! Oakes Pond hosts holiday parties / events that I don't think other apartments do! The location is great because there are tons of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely HIGHLY recommend living here.

I have been living in Oakes Pond since the newest building became available for rent in the summer of 16'. My fiance and I looked extensively to find a place as nice as this and were excited to find one this affordable. The apartment complexes are perfect; the kitchen and bathrooms are high-end and more than we could have asked for. The his and her sinks as well as the large standing shower are luxurious. There is ample parking and the new pool is gorgeous.

Even more, the property manager, Adam, has been incredible. He has been readily available since we first inquired about the apartment and contributed significantly to our overall positive experience while living here. We will be relocating for work soon and will truly miss Oakes Pond.

I moved into Oakes pond almost 4 weeks ago and my husband and I are so thrilled to be living here. Our two bedroom is spacious and beautifully updated, and the community is clean and well maintained. It has checked all the boxes for us, and we are happy to call this place our home.

Going on 2 years living here. Absolutely love the complex and management. Adam and the team are always quick to respond and always offer a helping hand. Complex is well maintained and units are modern and very spacious. Clubhouse and Pool are great additions! Not a single complaint here!
