I will start with the positives: The head of the work crew is wonderful. He goes out of his way to fix any issues and is a super hard worker. That’s it for the positives.

The negatives. The website states they are in communication with you the entire step of your project. That’s a complete lie. You’re lucky if you get a response from them within two days of any questions you ask. They only respond to email (they won’t pick up the phone). We never saw the owner once at the property except to sign the contract. Part of the project was during COVID, so we requested a Zoom meeting multiple times with the owner to discuss the project and questions we had. He refused each time because he was afraid we would, “Yell at him”.

Speaking of the contract, we specifically stated at the initial meeting what our budget was, and that we did not want a simple “box on a box” second floor addition. We wanted character with peaks and such. They drew up the plans and what do they give us? A box on a box. It will be considerably more money to create what we want. Red flag #1.

During our second design meeting, the owner did not show up. Instead, he sent someone who had no idea what the project consisted of and gave us all the wrong information. Another red flag.

Forget what you see on home renovation shows. The process was excruciatingly slow. We actually reported them to the BBB because they would not start the project. They tried to paint us as uncooperative and hostile clients. We had wood sitting in the driveway for over a month with no construction being done. One aspect of the project would be completed, then we’d wait 2 weeks to a month for the next portion to be completed. There was never any communication as to what was happening, when it was happening, or what was next. The only labor force consisted of subcontractors demolishing and framing the roof. The head of the work crew built the chimney all by himself, shingled the roof all by himself, and sided the house all by himself. We actually watched a 3000 ft2 house two doors down get built from the ground up and put on the market in the time it took this company to finish framing.

As the project progressed, we had some ideas we wanted implemented. They completely ignored them and did what they had already planned. It’s been almost three years since we signed the contract. We’re still waiting for some screens for our new windows. They have ignored all our requests for the missing screens, essentially breaking the contract. Summing up, avoid this company at all costs.

Edit: Three months later we finally received our screens.

We called NJ Pro Builders for some ideas to add space to our 86 year old log home. Keith spent 3-1/2 hours with us and trying to find a workable, cost-efficient solution.

The outcome of our meeting: our house is best just the way it is. We were happy that Keith gave us so much of his time and energy with honest opinions. He was upfront about the potential issues and costs we may face. Also very knowledgable and creative.

Sorry we didn't get to work on a project with him and his crew. Very responsive office too. Good experience all around!

We added an addition to our house and could not be happier with the results. This company is reliable, professional and will do what it takes to make sure the job is done to your satisfaction. We didn't even have to move out of the house while the work was going on. Keith designed and supervised the entire project and kept us informed every step of the way. He is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in his planning. The addition looks so natural that you can't tell it was not part of the original house. The workers were polite and cleaned everything up each day they were here. The quality of the workmanship is superb. From beginning to end Cassidy and Keith guided us smoothly through every phase of the construction. This is an A+ outfit and I would urge you to start here with your next project.

We called NJ Pro Builders to get an estimate of what it would cost to renovate our 100 year old house. We liked Keith immediately. He walked around the whole house with us and showed us some interesting details that we were not even aware of. He spent a lot of time with us giving us ideas and updating plans a number of times. Keith and his crew are great. We had them redo our ancient bathroom and now we have a great, sleek, modern one. We recently had him come by to check out something, and my father was at my house at the time and after Keith left he said "I need to call these guys to redo my bathroom too."

Keith's team works quick, and at the highest quality. Next up on our list is to redo our kitchen, and NJ Pro Builders will be our first, and only, call.

Keith and his crew just finished a mudroom for us. It looks great! This is the second time we have used North Jersey Pro Builders. The last project was a bigger project. They converted one bathroom into two. We had another contractor say it wasn't possible but Keith made it happen. Keith and the crew are very responsible and do great work. We had a second floor extension added to our home which consisted of three bedrooms all with nice closets, a walk in storage room, two full baths, a laundry room, a linen closet, a crawl space storage, a complete attic the entire length of the new space, a new staircase front the first to the second floor and a brick front covered patio by the front door. Keith designed and contracted everything bringing in only the very best men for each part of the job. We were so happy with all of the work that we began adding more and more for the men to fix up and finish in the rest of the house including the basement, new screen doors, painting of the family room and an upstairs sitting room, stairs and hallways, plus so much more. Keith, the owner and contractor, and Cassidy, who runs the office and manages the company, were always available to answer all questions and explain every detail. They are amazing!! We felt completely confident and comfortable at all times during the entire project and are now enjoying our dream house. We feel so blessed to have found Keith and Cassidy.

I would give them 10 stars if I could and I encourage anyone reading this review to look no further, pick up the phone and call them now. You will NOT find a better man than Keith and a better woman than Cassidy to build your home/project. They are a great team and the men working here were the most professional, kind and respectful in their field. I recommend them highly if you want a beautiful new home made perfectly down to every detail.

Truly and excellent company with one of the best customer support ever. Keith was awesome and his knowledge for home building and extension building is barnone. You will not go wrong with this company and will be super happy you went with them. Again I can not say enough about them and especially the owner, Keith.
