My experience with The New Home Company was not very pleasant for me nor my clients. I am a real estate agent and I've received several complaints about Farran the sales representative. She is short, rude, and just unpleasant to talk too. On several occasions my clients have complained about her hanging up in their face rather than saying good-bye. After several complaints I decided to call and speak to her myself and unfortunately, I experienced the same thing directly. If you must go do not work with Farrran you will walk away feeling uncomfortable about purchasing with this builder.

I think they are shady and I recommend hiring a HVAC expert to inspect your system if you buy their home. They cut corners and installed a deficient system (no dampers and not balanced) with a 7 degree difference between the upstairs and downstairs in thecommunity I reside. This apparently was under their warranty for about one or two years. It took me two different tries with a HVAC company over a span of 4 years to discover the issue. I emailed TNHC and they told me to basically go kick rocks because the warranty period had expired. For them to install a substandard system and put the responsibility on the customer is just unfair. A lot of people within the community have the same problem I'm having, but the shady part is that some people within the community complained within the warranty period and had their systems balanced. This should have been done to the whole community or at least notice given to the community regarding the issue. Don't buy space heaters if you notice a problem within the first year. Hire a company and have them do a thorough inspection of the system.

A company with a very low bar in terms of execution and customer service. There is no single place in our new house in Irvine that doesn't need a fix. They always push back and bring excuses to not fix things. Don't waste your money and energy with these guys. They just rush to meet their deadlines. We paid a big price for the lesson we learned. Please think twice before you decide to buy a house from this company.

I find it absolutely ridiculous I have to make this review. Unfortunately, the character of a particular employee has come into question. Eric Ree and his wife have taken upon themselves to harrass and barrate a child via social media. Its dumbfounding to see adults attempt to defile and potentially cause physical harm to a MINOR as a result of a situation they were in no way apart of. I've never seen such a level of immaturity and unprofessionalism.

Employee Sarah at Marywood site was awful in service and in communication. She was not helpful or open minded. She has a bunch of excuses and they don't make sense. Needs to be replaced.
