I tried to apply she ran me around for over a week. Said she wouldnt let me move in because i had a marijuana charge from back before medical came around. She said i cant let you live around my tenents with children because i cant take the chance of you RELAPSING on selling weed. Not relapsing on using it but selling it. It makes no sence. I have children myself but u cant have me around children in your apartments? I only got in trouble 1 time and she seen it as a meth charge when it wasnt. Iv never done meth in my life. She waisted my time then had the gull to say she was working on it for the last 3 hours when she got off at 5 and here it is 7 and she said no. So u waisted your time and mine. And i know youll comment trying to defend yourself but you have no defence what you said makes absolutely zero sense.

I was honest with the manager Carrie when I called to inquire about rentals. I have a past but that was OVER ten years ago. I have great references and a decent job. She refuses to even meet me or allow me to apply for a rental. Bc I was honest with her, she automatically judged me by my past and not the accomplishments I've made since then. She said if she rents to me she will have to "gut the house to the studs". Even though I don't use drugs or associate with anyone who does. Discriminate much? I haven't heard anything positive about this company but my kids and I are living in a motel bc we moved here so I can get a better job. I am still not giving up on finding a place to rent. I guess I should have lied but I just can't. I'm better than that.

I am Pastor Riggs. When my family and I came to Harrison to pastor a small church. We were on a budget. And could not find a place to rent. We stop by and saw carrie and she was verry kind to me and help me find a place that was in our budget. Three years later we have rented with them. They have always taken care of any problem we had. I recommend them to anybody that needs a place to rent

My partner and I were interested in looking at a house we found in the middle of Harrison, and despite hearing only bad things about Myer Rental properties being run down and filthy, we were interested in looking at this house since it didn’t look terrible from the outside/windows. Upon calling to request a tour of the house, we were asked about our incomes and told we wouldn’t be able to “afford” this rent house despite our incomes being OVER four times the amount they were asking for rent; and given no reason to why they didn’t believe we could afford it. Incredibly strange behavior for a company trying to rent properties. They told us we should check out another property they had that “was in our price range”— which was half the cost, and an unlivable duplex. No thanks. We called again to request a tour of the house we were interested in and again essentially told it was “out of our price range” despite being one of the cheapest houses we looked into in our house search. I assume they are just so used to treating their renters as a lesser person that they no longer know how to respond to people in a professional or kind way.
