I have been hunting up there for more than 10 years. The older guy, I think his name was Mark, really had a handle on what was going on up there. The new lady there seems to be riding the desk pretty well but has no information. If you want info you have to find a ranger. Those guys know something.

We love to watch the meteor showers at Mt. Pinos Nordic Training Center. The parking lot is always full, and people even wind up parking on the side of the road. It’s a very popular place especially during the meteor showers. The campgrounds are very nice too. We have only one complaint, there aren’t any port-a-potties! If you want a good spot in the parking lot, you’d better get there early. But no Andy Gumps. Let’s band together and see if we can change that!

no one answers the phone and when you use the option to leave a message so they can call you back, no one ever does. what the hell is the point of this place if i can’t call and get specific information from someone there?!?! if i have to drive all the way there to ask my questions in person, i can just get the answers myself!
