nobody answers the phone I’ve called countless times, they’ll keep me on hold and hang up. I can’t get my health insurance approved since I can’t get in touch with their service number.
It’s been on the pending status on njfamilycare for the past 5 months and nothing is changing, it’s apparently on them to review my application.

sitting here crying as I write this review because these people refuse to help and I’m in horrible pain and have no access to health insurance, I dont think they will ever approve it or bother reviewing it. nobody is working or doing their job at this place.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The wait times just to speak to someone are insane over 45 minutes and many times they disconnect you after the 45 minutes. The agents are disrepectful and do not help with your case their answers are "I dont know" or "there are bigger problems to worry about than yours"

Absolutely useless in helping ppl. I had my GA and food stamps interview yesterday and my interviewer told me to call this place for rent assistance. I called, was transferred to 5 different ppl. The Last lady, who was sympathetic to my situation, told me the state can't help me because I don't have a start date on when I am going to receive my unemployment benefits. I have a print out of what I will make weekly, but that's not enough for the state. All she could do is refer me to churches. Govt is useless by design I'm starting to think.

My medicaid has been terminated for me and my son. They said I was sent a renewal letter in Sept. The only renewal letter I received for was food stamps renewal I told the lady on the phone when I called because I received a letter stating my Medicaid was being terminated as of Dec. So I went and reapplied also added my husband since I don't work due to my health. Now they sent me a letter saying we were denied due to income. My husband works but he pays child support which they take it from his check, he pays our rent which is $603 a month, lights n gas bill, car insurance, and groceries too because all we recieve in food stamps is $23 A month. Now my husband's hours are less since its winter. Can someone please help us. How is it that we don't qualify due to income. We don't have money left to buy groceries and do laundry since all his money goes to bills. How would we be able to afford to pay for doctor visits and prescriptions. Especially when I'm required to use a nebulizer for breathing treatment also my son. I also need my medications for seizures and high blood pressure. Please social services help my family with medicaid.
Thank you
Elizabeth Cotto

Has done nothing but take my benefits back then give the back the screw up my whole case. How do I show proof of residency if I have been homelesss for a year . They told me to sleep in my friends car with him. The best part is we are both disabled mentally and physically. But they don't care. I can't stand their snobby attitudes so they can say well you can sleep at Walmart.... Jerk offs

While PREGNANT with my first baby, I was awaiting confirmation of coverage, it took 6 months of calling every single week, (sometimes multiple times a week) I would get an answer from one person do what they told me to do send whatever paperwork they needed, to call back the following week and check up on it just to have someone else say "well idk why that person told you that, that's not correct" this happened over and over. Not to mention the attitude and irration of the employees from me calling and asking a simple question or trying to clarify my cases' status. Now whenever I need to call I'm hesitant and apologize the whole time bc they sound so irritated. Just because you deal with some bad people (like every job) doesn't mean you should take it out on every person you encounter.! If that's what you do, you shouldnt be working in a social services office!!!!!!

The women here are so rude and so heartless! They treat you like literally you’re just a part of the system as if you’re not even a person you ask one simple question and they respond with a very snobby attitude as if you work there and you should know all the answers! I hope never again to have to deal with anybody like this nobody in this world should ever feel less than anybody else! As a student who is currently taking courses to obtain a bachelors degree in social work, I could never talk to somebody so nasty & with such a disgusting attitude making them feel less of themselves!!! As a fellow Freehold and Monmouth County Resident I am so embarrassed with the services given!!!!

This review is for the OCEAN TOWNSHIP LOCATION. Since it is not shown on Google maps, and since it is very difficult to find, I want to help people get there. The coordinates are 40.229428,-74.040964
Or you can search for "Monmouth County Probation".
The folks on the switchboard, although very nice, were really bad at giving directions. The staff at the physical location were also pleasant. As you can see in the pictures the building looks like empty offices. You have to drive around BACK.
