We are STILL WAITING for our pet deposit refund of $500.00. We leased a 1 bedroom from 1/1/23 to 1/1/24. NO ONE will answer my phone calls or emails!!
On another note, DO NOT LIVE HERE. 1) the front of the building is always soggy/muddy and smells like sewage. 2) Our garbage disposal was broken for months. No answer from the maintenance number. 3) The back elevator was always shutting down. My daughter was afraid to go in it. 4) The parking garage below the building is disgusting. 3 dumpsters filled to the max and over-flowing. 5) The long hallways barely get cleaned once a month. Litter there and in the elevators.

PLEASE do not live here.

I scheduled a tour, got an email confirming tour. I got to the location. Call box not working. Number on email sends you to a call center in the Philippines. The number on the website does the same. The number outside on their banners does the same. None of the people at the center were of any help either.
No way to get in contact with anyone IN the actual location.
I could see the leasing office but no one was there. I waited 20 minutes and no one ever showed up.
They lack good customer service is disappointing. I drove out from the valley for an early appointment. Disappointing.

This company manages or owns, ‘Sylvan Gardens’ in Van Nuys, CA. The Sylvan Gardens, maintenance manager, Ivan Vigueras, is completely unprofessional when he interacts with tenants, speaks over them and has a horrible attitude, almost like a forced interaction, the current manager Chris NEVER answers his OXNARD location office phone number, instead it’s to routed to a voicemail.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. I rented an apartment with Koreatown Collection, a company that is owned (or at least managed) by MJW Investments, and had the absolute worst time dealing with both companies. Literally every aspect of dealing with this company is gigantic headache; my property manager changed at least 3 times throughout the year and a half that I lived in their building, and each manager was less informed and more frustrating than the last. Additionally, they refused to return my deposit, despite following all of their requirements and instructions to a T. I was fortunate enough to have had photographic and email evidence to prove that they were in the wrong, but it still took weeks of back and forth and a lawyer to get my money back. I would strongly recommend against renting from this company or working with them in any capacity.

I would like to give them 0 stars if possible. Never answers calls, very unprofessional as a company. They just route calls to Answering service companies who really can't address the issue. Just skip their properties if possible.

Why is it that this company who seems to be doing quite well and after visiting there website, seem respectable. They cannot keep a manager working for them more than three months. I've gone through atleast four in less than a year .
