If you were to design a perfect agent as you try to find your home – such an important and personal quest – you’d probably create Miranda as she is incredibly smart (Yale law grad!!), wonderfully funny and personable, and refreshingly honest and loyal to her clients’ wants and needs. She is also very hands on and active in partnering with you on the search, helping to develop a strategy and tweaking it along the way to match your criteria and timeline. We were in no rush to buy a home and were quite set on taking our time in order to find best price, neighborhood and actual home. This did not phase Miranda one bit – even though we were out looking at homes with her on almost a weekly basis for 8 months! In fact, she encouraged us to go slow so that we would find that house that checked off all the boxes. She actively showed us homes – ones that she introduced from off market and those she felt could fit our needs that were on listings, not to mention those that we found through Zillow and such. We had a very specific budget that we were working with and never did she try to up sell us or convince us to buy out of our price range (we’ve experienced that with other agents). I can’t overstate how important it is to her that her clients find a house that she and the clients believe is the perfect fit. Finally, she has wonderful relationships with all the Real Estate agents we came across (those representing the sellers), which helped us big time when we finally did find our perfect home that she successfully negotiated beating out another bid (which was higher than ours)! I can’t sing her praises loud enough! It’s fun with her, and it’s fruitful!
