I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Maybrook Property Management especially with Maria Wicker. Her lack of proper communication is absolutely appalling. She will abruptly hang up on the phone on you when you are concerned with the inconsistency of communication of her and the maintenance workers which leave important issues unresolved. On top of that her and the maintenance workers’ professionalism is non-existent. Whenever I’ve reached out for assistance or clarification, I’ve been met with rude, dismissive, and even hostile interactions. It feels like they have no respect for their tenants and no interest in providing quality service. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and courteous property management.

These people are crooks. They charge bogus fees and make false promises. They don’t return security deposits either. Do not rent with them. *Review Update* Their reply says I was never a tenant and they are mistaken. I will not remove this review. My business partners and I have had a horrific experience with them and it is actually ongoing. I still communicate with other former tenants who left 6 months ago and they still have not gotten back their security deposit either. Don't believe anything they say.

I've been in my apparent for about three .months now and of course needed some minor adjustments call the management company and in one day they came out and handled all of my concerns on the spot and were so nice about it . The next day I received a call to make sure that I was satisfied and was assured if there was anything else in the near future please don't hesitate to call they made me feel like family couldn't be happier with the choice me and my husband made to move in

I have lived in rentals for ten years now and working with this company has been one of the worst experiences I have had. There has been nothing but miscommunication and false promises. Were told the parking fees and pet fees would be waived. They appeared on our monthly bill. However, the pet fee was waived after a call. Submitted insurance paperwork a month prior to move in and were told two days before move-in that we would not be able to receive the keys because the paperwork was incorrect. When I questioned why this was not communicated to me beforehand as I had to leave my current unit the same day I was moving in, they had no answer.

To note, they said they were clear that the pet fees and parking fees were not going to be waived. That was NOT the case. The entire viewing of the unit was filled with false promises.

To add, we had a bee infestation on the porch outside of the backdoor. It was reported on August 18 (by multiple tenants). The issues was not resolved, even after several complaints, until September 25th.

When moving out we received an emailed move out procedure, which indicated the keys should be returned to the leasing agency or to a representative of the agency who would meet us at the unit. When we mentioned that to the landlord, she said that wasn't the case and we could leave the keys on the counter. We asked for the written move out process to the updated three times (the entire thing, not just the item about the keys). We never received the updated policy. It was very rare that we received any response to our questions in writing, always being told to call the office, which made everything seem more sketchy.

Hands down the worst lease I’ve ever decided to sign. This company is extremely sketchy. Aside from being the loudest and most uncomfortable building I’ve ever rented in due to noise caused by their construction, management is extremely dishonest and you can never get in touch with them to solve any issue. Still have not received my security deposit back more than 30 days after moving out. Horrific experience that I deeply regret. Do not rent with them.

It’s so nice to have a clean and safe place to live one of my doors wouldn’t open so good made a call to the manager and with out no hassle they came and fixed it at once would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice place to live
