I have been with Madsen Properties for many years. Lyndsey has been so helpful, and was really great in getting my new apartment ready. I appreciated all her help and encouragement. She took care of everything in a timely manner, even during the holidays. I would recommend Madsen to everyone.

I've had a great experience with the 3 ladies I've been working with. I Found a cute little place on a Sunday did my research filled out the application Sunday night. stopped by the office on Monday at 9am to make sure it was still available. Karen was was very friendly , she took the information they needed to proceed with my application. Lindsey who's managing the property answered all my questions. we set up an appointment for a walk through the next day at 9am. I Received call from Kurstie to confirm the morning of. Lyndsay was on time,very professional with a warm personal personality. my experience with Madsen property management has been Awesome.

Took 5 calls over a week and a half to get a response to an on going problem we have had with our hot water not lasting more than 10 to 15 minutes. I first notified them of the issue In the app when we first moved in in the middle of January, When I did not have a response for a week, I gave them a call and let them know the problem that we were having and they said that they would send somebody over. In the past two months, we have had so many come by three times to “ Fix” The water heater when all they do is turn up the temperature, I finally called back a week and a half to two weeks ago and spoke to someone Who said that she would look into it and get back to me. After three days of no answer, I tried to call and got sent to voicemail during business hours So I left a message letting them know I was checking in on what was happening and to call me back To no response. So I called again Multiple times within business hours got no response. Left a message asking for a call back and again nothing. I called again today and Finally got someone to answer the phone Karen said 10 to 15 minutes of hot water seemed reasonable and asked multiple times if it took me longer than that to shower (pretty uncomfortable to talk about my shower routine with a stranger) overall just felt very dismissive of the issues we are and have been (for over two months) having. She again said that she would look into it and get back to me, when I asked her when I should expect an answer because of the previous instances where I hadn’t heard back from them She just said she would talk to the owner of the house.

They are really pushy when it comes to viewing the property and I feel it’s because they want to see you in person before you apply! They are not good at a answering phones or messages. They won’t tell you that you have been denied for their shanty of property via email. They will send a letter of denial in the mail and screen your calls. If you try and rent from them ask them their requirements before you apply they won’t tell you! They will take the money to run your background knowing they have no plans on renting to you! The process felt super judgmental from start to finish! It was definitely giving mean girls club!

I’m not sure what’s worse—the inefficiency or the attitude that comes with it. You go in hopeful, thinking, “Today will be different,” only to be met with the same blank stares and dismissive shrugs. It’s like customer service took a vacation and forgot to come back.

The staff, if you can even call them that, seem allergic to basic decency. Asking a question feels like pulling teeth, and heaven forbid you need actual assistance. It’s a masterclass in how not to treat people. There’s no urgency, no empathy—just a general vibe that they’d rather be anywhere else.

This isn’t just about inconvenience; it’s about respect. If people are coming to you for help, the least you can do is pretend to care. Instead, you’re met with sighs, eye-rolls, and a sense of superiority that’s both baffling and infuriating.

Do better. Treat people with respect. And maybe, just maybe, remember that your job exists because of the very people you seem so eager to dismiss.

The management of this company lacks professionalism and effective communication with tenants. Maintenance requests often go unaddressed, creating frustration and inconvenience for residents. I would not recommend renting from this company due to their subpar services and lack of responsiveness. Very unprofessional!!!
