I’ve enjoyed my time at Luxia. I’ve decided to end my lease for personal reasons but honestly would move back contingent on how the stars align. I enjoyed the pool in the summer time, the gym during the cold winter nights and the convenience of living less than 5 miles from all of my favorite steakhouses. Cheers to a new chapter and cheers to Luxia for having me.

I love Luxia River East. The leasing team is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. My neighbors are so sweet. I am so glad I chose this apartment complex.

Wouldn’t recommend this complex. When I toured, I was shown the main building which is set up nicely but my lease was signed for a building behind it, and it’s been a mess here. The halls constantly smell like weed, people drop/spill stuff and don’t clean up behind them and communication to residents here is atrocious. Anytime I email or leave a voicemail for the leasing office, it takes literal days for them to get back to me. I thought with new management we’d experience a positive change in that but all they’ve really focused on is pushing off costs to us that weren’t there before, throwing pizza and painting parties and having food trucks on site. Real issues don’t seem to get fixed in a timely manner. I’ve never experienced this level of bad communication from what’s supposed to be “luxury living”. I moved in a year ago and the parking lot gates are just now functioning, which is shaky to even say given they’ve been fixed many times and then randomly give out. Our elevator goes down nearly every other week and when it does, there’s no communication from management. I have some health issues and there’s been times I definitely shouldn’t have been taking the stairs and had to. My packages are also constantly being delivered to the wrong place because of the various mail rooms it could go to and lack of organization for the delivery drivers. I love my individual unit but it’s so annoying dealing with the staff.

Update 6/16/23: We have just received our deposit back from the management. This is the smoothest and the most satisfying move-out experience we ever had so far. We have been living in multiple apartment complexes after relocating to DFW. And every single time we moved out, people always tried to nickle and dime us. One place even wrongly charged us, didn’t pay our deposit back and sent us straight to collections. I’m updating this review to provide a perspective on moving-out process, one important part of the experience but often been shadowed by the touring, moving-in, and other aspects. Again, I strongly recommend living in this community.

Update 5/18/23: My husband and I have just moved out to be closer to the office, ending our two amazing years at Luxia at River East. I want to shout out to Hannah who coordinated our moving out process, making it the smoothest and most pleasant process I have experience so far. She sent us detail move-out checklist, fixed payment system glitches, and made sure that we were charged the right amount and received our deposit back in timely manner. Again, I strongly recommend checking out this amazing community!

My experience with Luxia at River East has been great so far. The apartment complex was newly built and well managed. The common spaces are massive with many amenities and games. They also offer conference room and small cubes for people working from home. As I have been working remotely for nearly a year, I really enjoy the place. I can work, go to the gym, have a cup of coffee, or meet friends all in one place. I highly recommend you check out this beautiful apartment complex.

Worst apartments I ever lived in. I don’t know why they brand themselves as “luxury” apartments when they are far from it. There’s carpet in the hallways and common areas and the carpet is stained with dog poop. When the cleaning lady cleans she only adds fabuloso cleaner so now it smells like fabuloso and dog poop. The trash is always overflowing in the trash shoots located in parking garage and the homeless people are always looking through the trash at night. Dogs cannot be in your own apartment balcony playing or you’ll get a fine. They have a dog spa area but it’s always nasty and filthy. These apartments are not dog friendly at all so if you have a pet you better go elsewhere. They also have a leasing agent stay within the apartments just to spy on the residents. The pool area is loud even after closing hours and the “courtesy officer” is nothing but a joke. The manager could care less about your issues or complaints as long as she’s still receiving a paycheck. She’s very argumentative and you will be wrong because she’s always right. Please listen to the 1 star reviews as they are from real people who lived there and not paid testimonials.

Coming close to the end of a 14 month lease here at Luxia. All in all, a decent place to live with nice amenities and neighbors. The greatest downside I experienced is with maintenance and parking. I have been waiting over 10 months(yes that is correct) for a request to fix my washer and dryer. They have sent techs to try and fix the issue unsuccessfully, and I have had to make four repeated visits to the office each time only to receive another story of being light staffed and how they will have to follow up.. During the majority of my lease I have had to go to the laundromat, even though I pay for it in unit washer and dryer. Again, like I aforementioned, all in all not the worst place to live, good amenities and neighbors; parking can be tight at times, especially coming home late, but the main issue I had was with maintenance. Hopefully, you won’t have the same experience.

I moved in on August 19th, 2024. The apartment was very clean and it looks like it was freshly painted. It also may have gotten a new vinyl floor based on the smell. But No one in the leasing office could tell me for sure. In any case the floors look great. I was pleased to see that the stainless steel fridge had an in-the-door water and ice feature but from day one I noticed the "Filter" light came on every time I used it. Moving in, unpacking and getting settled took me a couple of weeks but I finally got around to reporting that to Steven, my leasing agent, and within an hour, Harrison and Danny had the part replaced. I was told that the part was very expensive but that since I had been there for less than a month there would be no charge. Very happy with the response time and the result.

So far this place has been great! Have been living here for just 2 months but the staff has been very helpful and the maintenance team has been absolutely amazing. Its also nice to know that we have 3 FTW police officers that live in the complex and are available to assist if we need them. The covered garages are a plus as well in the main building too. All in all happy to live here!
