We have been going to LbI for a weekend get away for years, we started staying at lorry’s island motel going on 3 years . We go back because it offers us a safe place for my grandkids to play - it’s comfortable and has lots of amenities to offer . Bill is exceptional with his kindness to our family while we book and stay at the motel . The price for the amenities is fantastic . We love the garden area to relax , bbq while the kids play in the sandbox . It’s walking distance to the beach with very little traffic is a plus for us .

First time stay at Lorry’s and I would definitely go back! Great value for the price. Very peaceful retreat just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Rooms were very clean, full sized fridge and microwave in each room. Nothing fancy but all the basics you need for a beach trip. Staff was super friendly and helpful, allowed us to grab the beach badges for our rooms prior to check in so we could enjoy a full day at the beach. Bagels and cream cheese/peanut butter and coffee each morning. We did not use the grills but they looked very clean and well kept. Walls are a little thin but with the quiet hours curfew it didn’t impact us much.

I stayed at Lorry’s Island End Motel week of 7/7 with my family. We received a great deal with an unbeatable price for LBI stay during peak season! We were warmly greeted by the owner Bill who remembered us by name! The motel is in a very peaceful and quiet part of the island. It was very clean, well kept property and loaded with benefits including grills in the courtyard, full sized fridge in room, beach tags, steps to the beach, and an outdoor shower. I loved the location offered the best spot on the beach! The staff were very friendly, great hospitality and very accommodating! I am so grateful for a wonderful experience!

This was not our first trip to Lorry's! We keep coming back because the hospitality is unparalleled , and it is sooo close to the beach! The motel has such a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was attentive to us, as was the owner. We loved having continental breakfast and bikes available to us. The courtyard has had some renovations since our last visit, & it is just lovely to sit and chat outside at the picnic tables or in the gazebo. There are outdoor grills for bar-b-q, and our room had a full sized fridge too . Everything was clean, inside & out!. We will be coming back, and bringing friends!

I have been going to Lorry's for years. Bill is a fabulous manager and a wonderful person. It is family oriented the staff is wonderful, trustworthy and the rooms are clean. I have left things in the rooms at Lori's and I've always had them returned recently it was my bathing suit lol. The outside gazebo is wonderful place to sit there are plenty of picnic tables grills and even a Sandbox for the kids! It is my favorite place on the island and I've been going to Long Beach Island since I was a toddler I've stayed in every town and Lori's Island and motel is my absolute favorite hotel to stay in

Bill was absolutely amazing with getting us in Labor Day weekend super last minute! Been coming to LBI since I was a little girl and this hotel is one of the only places that has the original vibe of back then! Clean rooms. Amazing grills to hang out and beach badges with room! Also super quiet at the end of the island and beautiful beach access super close by. Already booked my week for this upcoming summer and couldn’t be more excited.

Lorry's Island End Motel is a great getaway on the southern end of Long Beach Island near the wildlife preserve and within walking distance to both the ocean and the bay. The big plusnis that there are no amenity fees like most of the other motels on the island. They provide a free continental breakfast every day, have free wifi and free beach badges. Also available during your stay are the use of free local bicycles boogie boards. Every room has air conditioning, a full size refrigerator with top freezer, a microwave and a coffeemaker with free coffee provided. There is a courtyard with a barbecue area with 3 gas grills and grilling tools for your use. The owner Bill is very helpful in planning out your stay. Really love this place!

Bill Hutson, the owner of Lorry's Island End Motel, is a wonderful and caring person. Also, his employees are nice to us guests that stay there. This motel is peaceful and delightful. The rooms are clean and fantastically decorated. This is the best motel in New Jersey that I have ever stayed at. It's fantastic that they have barbecue grills and nice tables outside that a person staying at the motel can use.
