I've been living here for over two years. The property is always clean and maintained inside and out, the maintenance crew is always working.
I've had things that needed to be addressed within the apt (like my dryer wasn't working) and they are always taken care of quickly.
I've had things I needed help with (like lost packages) and the front desk crew ( mostly Michelle) is always responsive.
I was surprised to see the bad reviews, and felt compelled to set the record straight. Who know why the sour grapes people are the loudest but as a resident for 2+ years I wanted to speak up and say this is a great place to live!

These apartments are fantastic. The price for the space and quality of these apartments is a great value. The staff here is very friendly and professional. The property manager, Michelle, is always helpful and has handled all unforeseen apartment/community/ amenity situations with expediency and professionalism. The maintenance staff is always friendly and efficient. I would recommend Lofts of Helmetta to anyone looking for a great place to live.

I am more than a little confused by all of the negative ratings that the Lofts at Helmetta has received. I moved in on Feb. 1st, 2019 and cannot say enough positive, wonderful things about my experience here thus far. The building (lobby, hallways, common areas etc.) and grounds are kept impeccably. The leasing staff, property manager and live in maintenance staff have all been so friendly, helpful, kind and welcoming. They have all gone above and beyond to answer my questions and have been extremely patient with me as sometimes I can be unintentionally "difficult." The residents of the building have all been extremely welcoming as well. Daily, I am met with smiling faces and friendly hellos in passing by. Elevator rides are always filled with friendly small talk. The hallways are quiet, I have often wondered If I am the only one that lives on my floor lol As far as noise, this is an apartment, yes sometimes you can hear noise from surrounding units and your neighbors. It has never once been anything even remotely close to complaint worthy. I was concerned as many residents have dogs, I myself have an elderly senior dog who no longer enjoys the advancements of wagging tails from playful pups... everyone is so respectful with their dogs and of my dog. I have told all of the staff here that I never want to leave. I could easily make this my "forever home."

called and spoke with jackie from the leasing office twice, have been waiting for information on pricing of the lofts for two days now, gave out my number, email address, and still haven’t received any info. what was the purpose of collecting that information then? if they treat prospective tenants like this i can’t imagine the run around i would get when living here. good riddance.

Looks nice however, everything in the apartment is made super cheap.. also the property manager was always difficult to work with.. when we were trying to move in they “lost our paperwork” more than one time. And when we handed our paper work a few days later a woman called that we were in “jeopardy of not getting the apartment.” Poorly mismanaged and after we moved out they held our security deposit for two and a half months, they physically sent the check but put a hold until the money can be transferred. And when we moved in we paid for the amenities and they continued to charge us for them although we weren’t allowed to use them during covid. Keith from maintenance was the only helpful person we met at this complex. Also during our tour of the apartment complex we were told the train that’s very close to the buildings went by once a month... the train went by atleast twice a day and was very loud. Do not reccomend.

The building manager, Anna and Mark will pulled the good old BAIT and SWITCH. They gave myself and my significant other a rate and discounts on July 8, 2017 , then today, we went to look at another apartment style and maybe settle on an apartment, but they stated that it would cost more and the payments were different with the waived fees and rent NOT as told. We were told by Anna that the Main Building apartments were 2 months of rent waived and application fees waived. I also called Mark today (I have been in constent contact with Anna and Mark for appointments) to verify an appointment when my significant other got there, they sold it. He could not even call to cancel the appointment or show us another apartment similar.

Fantastic apartment complex, clean, friendly and EXTREMELY timely staff and maintenance team. My boyfriend and I just moved out after our 1-year lease. Only moved out because I changed jobs and distance from Helmetta was no longer feasible. We lived on the first floor in the John St building (non-amenity building) and for being on the first floor, we NEVER had a bug encounter other than the occasional spider or fruit flies from my windowsill plants. Rent was extremely reasonable for the 1-bedroom and any maintenance issue we ever had was acknowledged and investigated within 48 hours. If you're looking for a safe, friendly, clean, reasonably priced rental unit, I would 10/10 recommend Lofts at Helmetta.

We have not moved in yet, but we are 100% happy with the customer service we have recived so far. My boyfriend and I we will be moving into the phase 2 building (the Mill). We were amazed by the way the brand new apartments looked. Compared to the other places in the area, the quality and price was a no brainer for us. Michelle, the property manager has been nothing but helpful to us. I wanted to rite a review becuase the reviews on here arnt great, and for no good reason. You should definitly check this place out! It is brand new, beautiful, a great value for your money and the people are so helpful and friendly! We cant wait to move in!
