My Mom has been living here for 6 months now. There have been renovations and improvements since she first moved in, and more improvements are planned. The common areas are spacious, well appointed and clean. On our recent visit we enjoyed a tasty lunch served by cheerful staff. My Mom is very happy there.

If you love your family, DO NOT put them in this place! Half of the staff doesn’t even do their job! Management is made aware of the situations and still pick favorites! They get the ones who actually do their jobs into trouble for no reason… but the lazy ones get off scot-free because they’ve been there so long? because they pick favorites! Not fair. I do not want my loved one disregarded because there are LAZY people in this facility!!! I would do ZERO stars if google would let me.

We love working with Sun Valley Lodge! Joan, Bobbie, Chelsie, Dean and their whole team obviously care greatly for their residents. Their communication is top notch and would highly recommend this facility.

If I could do 0 stars I would!!! Theres maybe 2 or 3 amazing care givers here! The rest are so lazy!!! They just sit and watch the good ones do everything. Why are only 1-2 people taking care of every resident when there are extra people there for a reason? They are there to do their job not just sit on their butts watching someone else take care of their section… and once asked for help they say they’re busy with the nastiest attitude!

My husband and I lived in an independent apartment at Sun Valley Lodge for nearly two years. The "Lodge" provides continuum care for most phases of elderly life, from Independent Living, Assisted Living and nursing care. We enjoyed our residence there...the food is quite good and the kitchen/serving staff constantly strives to satisfy the varied palates of the residents and improve the daily meals. The staff and the residents co-mingle amicably, making for a very pleasant environment. The nursing staff is friendly and efficient while being both professional and knowledgeable. Daily activities are organized and planned to meet resident's preferences and levels of ability. The Lodge sponsors such things as pizza parties, sing-a-longs, movies and many other activities to bring enjoyment, fun and stimulation to its residents.Most of our needs were met right there at the Lodge with on-premises beauty shop and barber, good food, live entertainment, round- trip transportation to local grocers, retail shops and doctor appointments, games and fun activities and group exercises, to name a few. When my husband became terminally ill, the Lodge employees were at my side with words of support, sound advise and a wealth of information about resources available to us. Sun Valley Lodge was not just a place to live...it was our home. We were fortunate to have lived there.

Sadly, I would urge that anyone who is loved does not end up in this facility. Upper management is not qualified to administer decent care or make any safe decisions for all levels. But then, this will not make it to posting.
