I just don’t like the service LGI provided when I was their couple months back when I came to purchase a home. Being a realtor and loan officer myself. So don’t plan to recommend you guys to anyone. It was the Caucasian sales manager their. I am not sure if he was the manager. I was trying to ask him regarding interest rates and credit. I was buying for myself. I would rather bring clients to Dr Horton or K Hovnanian since I am a well known realtor in Bakersfield. Terrible service. Made me uncomfortable. I like the home but the service didn’t make me buy. I bought elsewhere. This happened couple months back!

I visited the Harvest Grove community, the sales person was kind and informative. But I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the home. They’re all spec homes, you get what they choose.

The homes are overpriced by $100K, (even for California pricing) the cabinets are shallow and made of cheap partial board, baseboards and door trim is cheap looking too. The front yards are all mulch, not what I would call welcoming or attractive. At the price of the home and added expense to plant grass in front and back it’s not worth it!

I guess, if you’re a first time home buyer wanting to get into your first home it’s ok, but you’d have to live in it for 10 years to build equity.
