I want to share that LA’s Best Property Management has been exceptional in helping me rent out my empty units. Their diligent work in selecting the right tenants has truly impressed me. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking for a reliable property management team.

I would not recommend working with or renting from this company. No matter how great of a tenant you are, they will attempt to charge you in bad faith and pull cheap intimidation tactics you when you push back.

Two stars because there were no issues during our residency.

Suddenly when we moved out charges were made for normal maintenance that is the responsibility of the landlord (routine carpet cleaning, stove drip pan replacement, stove grease filter replacement, etc.) We responded by providing all photographs of the clean apartment we left behind. No damage at all was done to the carpets, and we notified them that it was against the lease and the CA Civil code section 1950.5 to charge us for it. We also alerted (with photos) that we never had a grease filter, they told us we were lying. The dishonesty on their part was revealed when we provided a video of the original apartment tour, no grease filter in sight. They gave in upon being caught and ignored everything else. Their statements about pricing included saying something cost "$30 plus", that's not a valid receipt.

Vanessa finally stops ignoring our emails when we mention the possibility of suing and attempts a weak insult stating that her "wasted time is worth way more than we're asking". If her time was actually that important, she'd behave honestly & professionally.

Moved in about 2 months ago and so far this company has been GREAT!
They respond to maintenance requests right away, if the property manager doesn’t answer I can call the company with any questions and they’ll answer me.
Everyone’s really easy going and understanding while still being professional.
They stay on top of things to make sure the place is in good shape and I LOVE IT!
Would rather have rules than to have someone who doesn’t care about how the property looks or lets it fall apart.
10/10 so far!! <3

Currently I’m a renter for a unit managed by LA’s Best Property Mgmt. Inc. Experience has been phenomenal. One worker was super friendly and helpful with the application process. Answered all questions in timely and professional manner. One of the main reasons I felt comfortable renting with this management company.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!! I viewed an apartment through this company and was immediately struck with unprofessionalism. Their agent Jaelen couldn’t answer any of our questions, couldn’t confirm the rent price and couldn’t confirm what utilities were included. Although it left a bad taste we continued to reach out to Vanessa for more questions as Jaelen was unresponsive and useless. Vanessa immediately met us with a condescending tone, but still we applied for the apartment. After a ridiculous amount of steps to apply, we submitted and were accepted with extra terms. They were demanding $7,000 up front, which included a rent price $100 higher than every online listing, and a doubled security deposit. The apartment was next to a freeway and homeless encampment....yikes. We tried to negotiate back and asked for reasoning on why the price change, (not to mention we’re in the middle of a pandemic) but there was no remorse and they retracted their offer. I have lived in two major cities and multiple apartments and have never had such an awful experience.

Never in my life have I experienced less professionalism from a management company and I have lived in New York and Chicago. From their agents not knowing basic information like rent price and utilities, to having extremely poor communication skills, Vanessa makes you jump through hoops in the application process and does not honor rent prices listed on multiple housing sites. Provide proof of income and they will try to milk you for as much as they can, then reply with a condescending attitude. Don’t let them scam you. They seemingly don’t realize the world is suffering from a pandemic, and show low moral character by trying to jack up the rent and deposit once you’ve already applied. All of their listings are inconsistent and when asked for clarification, none could be provided by the leasing agent at the time of the viewing or any time after. But they’ll answer any questions after you’ve signed the lease. Save yourself the stress and worry of a management company that clearly doesn’t care about their tenants, only the money they can squeeze from them.

My home was burglarized and this property management company has done nothing to ensure my physical security. This is after repeated reports to them of trespassers in our backyard by several other tenants.

They have cameras on the property but they are just for show and don’t actually work. I have filed a police report and am working with LAPD détectives to investigate.

Will likely be filing a lawsuit against them for gross negligence and threatening the safety of tenants.

Do. Not. Rent. Unless you want your home broken into.
