My wife and I began working remotely from California with realtor Kirk Hawkyard to sell our house in Reno, Nevada after a horrible experience with a previous listing agent. First, the difference between the two agents was night and day. Kirk is professional, knowledgeable, kind, honest, and very well connected. He has networks both in Reno and northern California, which gives him an edge over other local agents. Second, and most importantly, he rolled up his sleeves and did the work it took to get our house sold. Once we received an offer and the transaction went into escrow, we also worked with Kirk’s wife, realtor Laura Hawkyard, to take care of the administrative side of the house sale. Working with Laura was also a pleasure as she too is very professional and knowledgeable and kept us abreast of all the details and pending due dates prior to closing.
