Prior to the last month, I’ve never had any issues with the dealership. I’ve taken my car in for several oil changes and the stuff is always friendly. I’m very helpful

I recently had to have my spark plug replaced, or it was recommended that I did due to the mileage on my car. I was not having any issues with my vehicles, acceleration misfiring, or any such things happening. It has not been a month since they were replaced, and I have experienced several instances of loss of acceleration, it’s very hard to accelerate without pushing the pedal to the floor, especially when on an incline. In addition to this work, it was also recommended that I replaced my water pump due to leaking. A week after my water pump was replaced. I heard a weird sound coming from my engine and lifted my hood. I discovered the coolant tank was completely empty and the band for the water and coolant system was crooked. I know this because I took it to another dealership to have the coolant put in when I realize what was going on. When I took it back to the Kia dealership, which I had to do on a work day, and I work nights, I was told that the clamp was not secured. Of course, when I lifted the hood, the band was now on properly and not cricket at all, which they told me it hadn’t been cricket to begin with however, I had pictures of the empty coolant tank as well as the crooked band from the day prior.

I now have to go back to the dealership to have my spark plugs checked. These are two extra trips. I have to make from over 30 minutes away, to ensure that the work done on my car was done correctly, which should’ve been done the first time. I’m very frustrated as each time I’m there. It’s quite a long wait. I’m now being told that I need to have my car there around 8:30 and they will have it until noon. We have no family in the area, which means I also have to drag my three year-old child with me to sit in the waiting room for hours while they work on my vehicle. The first time I went in for the spark plug chain, they did not have all the parts and did give me a loaner for the weekend, which I sincerely appreciate it. However, I am very frustrated that I have to keep showing up after working a 12 hour night shift for them to check their work because it affects not only me and my sleep, but my child as well.

I recently had my KIA repaired for rodent damage at the KIA dealer.
I found that Gavin was such a very nice, knowledgeable man.
He helped me a lot and took his time to explain step by step the procedure for repair, and was such a great help. I would truly recommend him for any advise.as he is very well mannered and has a wonderful demeanor.

I also found that Gwen was fantastic.
She made things move along and she seemed very "on top of it" as she processed all the paperwork in a snap, and was a huge help for me as well.
I feel that she is a great asset to the KIA dealer in Paso Robles and she has a wonderful, helpful, caring personality.

The lounge area is very comfortable and the furniture is comfortable too.

I want to thank all for everything for getting me back on track again and now it is back to enjoying my KIA Sportage once again.
