Donna and I are from Maine and have vacationed in Summit County over the course of 20 years. We were beginning to think about looking for a second home but had not yet taken any steps in that direction. With less than a week left in our vacation this September, we noticed a single-family home for sale in Dillon, just a short walk from where we’ve stayed for many years. How could we pursue this dream? We had no realtor, no lending company, no loan pre-approval, and only a limited knowledge of Summit County real estate. Miraculously, we connected with Kelly, mainly through the strength of testimonials and recommendations from her clients. After sending an introductory e-mail on a Tuesday to inquire about her interest in working with us as potential buyers, Kelly simultaneously e-mailed, texted, and called us within 5 minutes! She spent nearly an hour in this initial conversation, providing transparent and invaluable guidance that was the help and support we so greatly needed. Kelly then arranged a home tour on Wednesday and connected us with an excellent lending professional that evening. By Thursday, we were pre-approved for our loan, and Kelly worked with us to prepare exactly the right offer, which was accepted by the seller on Friday. I am convinced that Kelly’s insight, dedication, and support were responsible for getting us under contract so quickly and before we had to leave Colorado on Sunday morning!

Once under contract, Kelly’s attention and responsiveness were unmatched as she partnered with us to meet all the necessary stipulations and requirements. The respect that Kelly earned from the seller’s agent was instrumental in getting repairs made before we took possession. Kelly’s connections with the team of top-notch professionals that she assembled in finance, home inspection, appraisal, insurance, and title were tremendous assets as we worked towards the closing of our mountain home.
