Tonya Yeazel is why I would never recommend Keller Williams Realty to anyone buying or selling a home. She was very patronizing and communication could be greatly improved on her end. We worked with Tonya for 4 months, since February and it was a complete waste of time in the end. We even had scheduled a showing to see a house we are serious about with her. I am very thankful we cut ties with Tonya today prior to signing anything or even starting to view our dream home. Word of mouth is really important in real estate and I could never recommend Tonya Yeazel as a realtor to anyone.

We were first-time homebuyers and we felt very comfortable working with our agent, Liz Phelps. There were a couple special circumstances that arose, but Liz helped us work through them quickly and easily. She is super chill and kept us relaxed despite the stress of purchasing a home. I had the absolute WORST experience dealing with Nicholas McClellan from the Keller Williams real estate group of Illinois. I was a buyer for one of the properties he was selling. TWO days from closing he disclosed that his client has liens on the house that his client couldn’t afford. He let us know that we couldn’t buy the house two days before closing. Thank God I have a house I could still live in or my family would be homeless currently. We found out a day after closing that he could sell the house but 3 MONTHS later! From the very beginning Nicholas was very unprofessional and not responding to my agent in a timely manner! When asked about getting the almost $2000 back that I spent on house inspection, earnest money, and appraisal he responds, “ we feel bad about this”. Nicholas still has not got back to my agent about the earnest money, his client also doesn’t have the funds to pay me back the rest as well. I will never recommend Keller Williams Real Estate Center of Illinois to anyone if that’s the quality of agent they have working for them. If you are thinking of buying a house that they’re listing or using them to sell your house DO NOT!
