As a REALTOR I sent a client over to them . Was assured I would receive compensation for all of my work. My clients decided to put the purchase on hold for a year. They are now building with them and when I approached the builder they told me I was not going to receive my hard earned commission. This is very dishonest and unprofessional and I will be spreading the word. Realtors beware and be sure you are having them sign compensation documents. Clients/buyers be sure your agent is getting paid for their hard work.

Great houses, but the management is not mindful to veterans. I cancelled the contract on a house due to raising concern of inflation with utilities along with the wonderfully high Illinois property taxes. I understood when I cancelled the contract there was a possibility of losing the earnest money. Well, I asked for three chances to cancel the contract and to receive the earnest money, but they said no. $8,000 to the Kappert's for no reason other than greed and profit. I informed them I am a retired veteran and they are keeping the hard earned money of a veteran, and they still kept it with a smile. Greed and selfishness should be the Moto of this company. I would have expected better considering they are in a military town.

We’ve been in our Kappert constructed home for two years. I’ve built 5 new homes in my life and the Kappert team was by far the best I’ve worked with. Especially when making my numerous change requests. The quality of materials used is higher than most other contractors we evaluated before deciding on Kappert. I especially liked their one year warranty on new homes. Didn’t make any difference how small my issue was, Kappert scheduled and fixed the problem promptly. Ann and Steve are great to work with, and Steve Kappert will build you a quality new home.
